Grey Just testing URLs in the grapevine. This link will take you to Pelle's blog: http://is.gd/ixdm (I want to see if this gets converted to a link or if you have to copy and paste it.) (10 months ago)

Grey Oof! Just saw this now, Siona.... Yeah, flutters I think it was... no, "flaps", but I don't like it much. "Flutter" was the name to replace "Grapevine". Anyway, I just used "tweets" here because it's more readily recognizable. :) (10 months ago)

Listen to Brit!

Pelle said Jul 21, 2007, 10:11 AM:

In the latest ISC concall, Ken talks to pod member Brit.

Short summary:

How do you communicate with people who are on a different level (ie below integral)?
- state your message in language that makes sense to them and that appeals to their set of values
- the maximum you can aim for is talking healthy on their own level
- taking ecological concerns as an example, amber will respond to family values, conservation of the earth, keeping it safe for hunting (!). Orange will obviously want to hear how environmentally friendly solutions are profitable, and luckily they are (Ken quotes source).
- “throw out a few pebbles and see where the water is” (Ken :))

Ken also mentions that the Gaia hypothesis initially was about how the thin almost ubiquitous layer/film of procaryot cells around the earth acts as a regulator between higher life forms and weather patterns. IOW very different from how green spirituality uses that word.

The last part of the conversation is a beautiful piece about communication within a relationship, and I wouldn't do it justice by summarizing it in written form.

Thanks Pelle and Liz for your efforts getting me back on here!

I think I am off the hook for discussing my talk with KW, for now…(no one else has jumped in).

But should anyone want to talk with me, I will always be around!

Best to you all,

Ms Brit

Hey, there, Miss Wholesome-looking…(you should be on cereal boxes, seriously)

I actually do want to discuss it, but I’m at a family reunion and have only brief access and no ability to listen to long dialogs. I will find it when I get home, give it a listen, and write about my impressions.
