Under standing

Whatever you choose to learn, seek for understanding. Don't try to negotiate the way it is presented to you. It is our task to unravel the information given. Don't blame the messenger if you don't grasp the message.

Don't say you cannot fathom the Buddhas truths because its teachers are not integral thinkers. Once you seek truth you have to stand under and listen to what is being said. Try to see it with their eyes, listen with their ears. Only then will you be able to comprehend what they mean. Then you will come to know what it means in your own life.

As you strive to understand one view, seek in like manner to grasp other views, and by doing so accumulating enough information to get a holistic understanding of all the different facets of Life.

Now you can see that Integral is a never-ending learning. Because every encounter you will have is ever new and therefore a new experience, from which we learn. So adopt a stance of “standing under” in order to understand. After years of learning you'll find that there is so much in your information bank that now it serves as a help to others that is seeking understanding. Pass it on.

So, if you want to know Jesus, go ahead and ask. If you like to unearth the treasures of the Buddha, seek. If you'd like to understand your own freedom, never stop. There will be a time when we will be able to see eye to eye, as brothers. All part of this wonderful family called mankind. Join the party.
