Hello,
I am in the process of putting together a research project to study young adults 35 or younger who have developed/tend to perform in the later stages of adult development.
Specifically, I am interested in interviewing adults 35 or younger who have been tested and scored at at least one of the following:
Loevinger/WSCT: Autonomous or later Cook-Greuter/LDP: Autonomous or later Torbert/Harthill: Strategist or later Cognitive: Meta-systemic or later Somthing other than Spiral Dynamics that has been scored at correlated stages.
If you are 35 or younger (or were 35 or younger when you were scored), I would very much like to discuss further w/ you the my research further.
About me: I am currently a PhD student at Lesley University studying Adult Learning and Development. I have been a student of Integral for 5 years now and have had the opportunity to study formally at I-I, Spiral Dynamics and trained to score Susanne Cook-Greuter's WSCT/LDP.
In particular I am interested as to researching what the common variables are that unfold in the interview process for those who have matured into these later stages of development and how their developmental stage may have outpaced their developmental life phase. That is, their phase in life (social construct/role, tied to bio-age) is not a indicator of their developmental stage complexity. They may be more mature/developed in particular ways that their older-life phase peers are. I think that this phenomenon is very important to study not only to clarify the distinction between developmental stage and phase, but also to more deeply understand what is possible and…maybe come a bit closer to understanding 'why' some may develop and other not…and can this be designed into adult learning contexts.
If you fit this category, I would value your response to me directly.
