This is very deep and can bring up, as she said, some powerful emotions. In the last conference, this happened in the Integral Feminism session.

Perhaps just starting right out with how men feel. What has hurt them, what is NOT OK to talk about in this society, etc. You already know what their answers are going to be, and you can address that with a lot of heart. This has tremendous transformational potential. The men and women in that session could come away with a much deeper understanding of each other and take that out into the world with them, in a way that our online discussions can never achieve.

Liz
Re: Register for the 2010 ITC conference today http://transcend-include.gaia.com Liz tag:gaia.com,2009:Gaia-502663 Sat, 21 Nov 2009 17:16:06 GMT http://groups.gaia.com/ii/conversations/view/494896#502663
Sorry, Doug, I'm more in the market for something that will fit in my tiny city parking space!

liz
Re: Register for the 2010 ITC conference today http://brucealderman.gaia.com Balder tag:gaia.com,2009:Gaia-502249 Fri, 20 Nov 2009 15:19:59 GMT http://groups.gaia.com/ii/conversations/view/494896#502249
Thank you, all of you, for your comments. We'll see what happens. :-) With Wilber's recent talks on the future of Christianity and reviews of movies like Religulous, the topic does seem to be "up" right now.
Re: Register for the 2010 ITC conference today http://ADLIAC.gaia.com 1Vector3 tag:gaia.com,2009:Gaia-502024 Fri, 20 Nov 2009 01:47:07 GMT http://groups.gaia.com/ii/conversations/view/494896#502024
Ditto what Liz, Arthur, and Doug said.
:)
OM
Re: Register for the 2010 ITC conference today http://DouglasRWallack.gaia.com dugaum tag:gaia.com,2009:Gaia-501611 Thu, 19 Nov 2009 02:25:37 GMT http://groups.gaia.com/ii/conversations/view/494896#501611
Bruce,
I totally concur with Liz & Arthur. From post modern nihilism to postmodern and earlier religion, you have a wonderfully patient compassion with those apparently 'fixed' perspectives that I pray have a transformative effect on my own attempts in those areas. It is arguably the most Integral dance. LOL !!!!!!!!

Holding the vision that you're at the conference, perhaps even while keeping your pickup truck. Not easily interactive, and not easily visual.

Questions and answers?? Like maybe give a situation and ask for input about it in some way, such as how the audience thinks differing stages would see or deal with the situation, then give your ideas? Might even expand your own insights that way.

People do love to talk, hahaha.

Looking forward,
OM
Re: Register for the 2010 ITC conference today http://DouglasRWallack.gaia.com dugaum tag:gaia.com,2009:Gaia-499593 Fri, 13 Nov 2009 18:42:44 GMT http://groups.gaia.com/ii/conversations/view/494896#499593
By the way...
Anyone need a pickup truck?
