My own experience with Integral Community is that we recently started an Integral network/salon here in Malmö, Sweden. I seriously doubted that there would be enough integral people in this region, but after connecting to three other guys with a sincere interest in Integral I went for it and created Malmö Integral. The response has been amazing to say the least! At our first meeting there were 10 of us and 10 more who couldn't make it. So what I'm thinking now is that there could be a lot of untapped potential around the world, with connections still waiting to be made so that people can finally be "released" into an Integral community and start co-operating with their peers.

Pelle

      Hi Pelle,
We can not probably call it Integral by this standard here, but I participate in an Anglican Church here in London. I like to think that a good Christian understanding would be working in all four quadrants, and its teaching covering all human issues, from personal to impersonal, from singular to plural. Embracing a modern outlook in regards to psychology, science, education and so forth. I am under no illusion that this is not always easy to find among fellow Christians. But there are shining examples. I try to do a little to help and educate people about a wider and deeper understanding within the context of Christ (and sometimes outside of it).

We meet once a week in small groups. We pray, read and discuss various material from the Bible. Sunday services are spirit filled, singing, praying and good sermons from real people. I find spiritual community to be so important to my own spiritual well being without which I surely would dry up.

My Church is Holy Trinity Brompton, the originator of the Christian introduction course the The Alpha Course, where I help out from time to time.

Come on down...

Are you in a real life Integral community?

I'm curious about how many IIZaadzsters have an Integral salon/network in their region, that they visit regularly or occasionally. Is anybody thinking about about starting a new Integral community where they live?

Feel free to share your experiences, however limited, in this thread. If you have a lot of experience, then feel free to share what works and doesn't!

Pelle
