Yes, no doubt.
The west in my case is Western Europe , enlarging European Integration with Eastern Europe and Turkey. German speaking countries Austira, Switzerland and Germany have a rich potential of cultural institutions, NGO`s, think tanks foundations, orgs and centers which can add to poltical agendas. These parts of civil society are however trapped mostly in insufficient understanding of memetic devlopment.
Mediation, diplomacy, crisis managment, humanitary help, abstract intellectual discussions, even strange exotism, tourism and well meaning advice are bad and ineffective ways.
Entrepreneurial appproaches for the region on the other side are basically focusing on ROI and investments which do not serve in a sustainable way the growth of local populations.
The work of CHE Mideast is currently clearly the leading integral and systemic approach in the field. As we have elections in Germany and for EU parliament this year, I will use window of opportunity to reach out to some open-minded and pragmatic cultural and poltical groups in German speaking countries which might be ready to at least considering this aproach.
The specific German relationship to Israel and Arab World can be a precious asset in this dynamics.
My hopes and expectations are going to the cultural potential of my country and tens of thousands of people even outside poltical administration. With an understanding for the necessity of a MeshWorks foundation too.
And an entrprenurial attitude for change which makes things happen and transforming conversations which matter to action which makes the difference.
