The purpose of this pod is to be a group blog for practicing counsellors and therapists who are interested in how therapy works within a post-postmodern context. We are looking for members to have completed recognized qualifications of at least associate or bachelor's degree level before joining us here. The AQAL Model will be highlighted, but any approach that...(more) integrates pre-modern, modern and post-modern currents is worthy of consideration.
My vision is that this pod will evolve into a group weblog that might mirror the recently launched Integral Christian in key respects by providing an evolving intermediate level of discourse: not casual conversation, not “peer-reviewed journal” – in between those two.

Who we are: Counsellors and therapists both curious about and committed to developing integral psychotherapy as a viable approach for helping people with their emotional functioning (as a primary but not exclusive purpose) in a post-post modern context.
Why we do it (motivation): My motivation for this stems from seeing the academic journal context as somewhat outdated – or at least slow – in comparison to the blogosphere! A group weblog provides a place for developing discourse in meaningful but “bite-size chunks”.
How we will proceed: To start with, I will set forth a bunch of possible thread and topic ideas, and see how things evolve. (less)
