David Woe to you, godless ones, who have no hope, who rely on things that will not happen! Woe to you within the fire that burns in you, for it is insatiable! Woe to you, because of the wheel that turns in your minds! Your mind is deranged on account of the burning that is within you . . . (1 month ago)

David The darkness rose for you like the light because you surrendered your freedom for servitude! You darkened your hearts and surrendered your thoughts to folly, and you filled your thoughts with the smoke of the fire that is in you. Woe to you who dwell in error, heedless that the light of the sun which judges and looks down upon the all will circle around all things so as to enslave the enemies. You do not even notice the moon, how by day and night it looks down, looking at the bodies of your slaughters! [Jes (1 month ago)

Amazing Sand Art from Ukraine's Got Talent

Incredible artistic talent on Ukrainian TV. Somehow I can't see Simon Cowell trying to judge something like this.

That was quite amazing, James. It was amazing to see images appear like that.

It was also cool to see images of light turn to images of darkness, changing with the music.

I really like the art form. I haven't seen it for so long I had forgotten it even existed.

What a wonderful art form. I've never seen anything like it really. Very story like, reminded me a little bit of Marc Chagall style wise, which is interesting as he's from Russia. I loved seeing what it evoked in people, the tears. Unspoken and untapped depths, beauty, sadness, the lot. Cool.

Nice to see you checking out Ukrainian TV too James. :) Great find.

What a wonderful metaphor for the mind. Layers of impersonal opaque fragments constructed into our personal lived experience. Sometimes around sundown the sun passes thru the trees and the silhouettes of the leaves and twigs overlay into this dazzling pattern on the wall of my living room. Shadow and light compose a complex “reality” onto the wall…just like the cave called “my mind”.

Thanks.
How many light boxes are there? 3. Her table, the LCD screen and our mind. Crazy huh, contexts within contexts within contexts…endlessly.

What did one light box say to the other?
Namaste :-)
