Hello to all of you,

I've been seeting a 3 times a week workout routine and I'm trying to apply the FIT technique (Again thanks to Rob for the PDF).

I'm exploring stage one (see Path to Mastery) with a focus on the right breathing, protection of my back and other bodily parts and I'm slowly working on making the right muscle work. I've noticed that other muscles than the one I'm working on activate themselves and I try to relax them as I see they are not needed in the movement.

I remind me often to be in the here and now of the movement, as if only this moment exists, and this helps me greatly. It is strangely enjoyable to apply this FIT technique and I noticed once, that I was very focused, that my body was using only the needed muscles: I was amazed to see that my strenght increased highly for a few seconds and everything was flowing and easy - so to say. This did not last for long, maybe 1 to 3 second, but it was quite amazing.

After working out, I feel very grounded, in a different way than after Yoga or meditation.

But as with any discipline, my concern is to maintain this workout routine in the long run. Time will tell.

Be well,

Patrick
