Speaking of Integral Vegans, the recently released Integral Ecology has a forward by vegetarian and animal rights activist  Mark Bekoff,  a biologist who specializes in animal minds and emotions. I have one or two of his books…good stuff.

Certainly looks like a great book, I'll have a closer look at MB's site. 
There are so many perspectives and views on ecology, this area definitely needs some integral apporaches.

Thanks for sharing about this event. That sounds like a very cool experiment. I often cook without a plan. I just look and see what I have in the fridge and try to make something awesome. It's fun. Tonight I made a lentil loaf. It looks like your no-planning came out beautifully. I love the photos.

Hi Knud!  So simple and inviting.  I am impressed at the dishes of food and just want to really validate you for putting such community together.  I have a yam fest each harvest for the past 20 years but can really learn from you on creating food for and with groups.  Namasté
