Healthy alternatives for dehydration or thirst instead of taking salt or salt tablets First alternative: (Makes about 1 quart)
Blend in a blender: 1 1/2 cups cucumber 1 1/2 cups tomato 1 tablespoon organic apple cider vinegar 2 tablespoons organic lemon juice 2 - 3 tablespoons unheated honey
(Really Raw honey from Baltimore Maryland is the only one in stores that I know of that is truly raw and unheated honey. 1-800-732-5729. Otherwise it can be obtained from farmers market or local farmers.) Most all honey sold in stores even if it says raw is heated to 140 degrees or so so it can easily be poured into jars. This ruins the enzymes in honey and other nutrients and turns it into only a sugar/carbohydrate which is useless. Most honey will thicken/crystallize in about 2 months if not heated.)
2-3 tablespoons raw cream 2-3 tablespoons coconut cream
(Coconut cream: take a (preferably organic) coconut, drain the water, take out the coconut meat and put it through a vegetable juicer that can juice items like carrots. One must have about 98 degrees ambient temperature to get the maximum amount of product when juicing coconut due to the nature of coconut. Or call Rawesome at 310-452-2244 and have it shipped to you.)
Second alternative: Vegetable juice: 25 percent celery 25 percent carrot 25 percent cucumber 20 percent parsley 5 percent cilantro The percentages of these drinks can be altered to suit one’s individual needs.
