When I can truly let go of my surroundings and quiet my internal self, the experience while meditating is extraordinary. I feel such a release of self. All of the earthly problems that surround me are gone for that moment…my body is fully restored to health…I am one with everything…perfect peace. I am learning how to focus that energy into my state of awakening….attempting to re-surface from my meditative state and apply it to every aspect of my day. I am finding that I am becoming more successful at this task…the days where I can stay in the moment, spurred on by my meditations, are blissful and complete…..unfortunately, my human side kicks in more often than not and my freewill, negative, sinful nature takes over…..always a process for me, nothing near perfection!! ;-) |

I've experienced all types of things when I meditate. Visions/consciousness-location shifts, spontaneous mantras, non-being, and a flood of light into my crown chakra are a few examples. I've always had 'good' luck meditating… I just seemed to know what to do. The trick is not to try… ; )
