Thank you for the break of humor that's great. Especially with half the US all worried about this flu that started in Mexico.  Does anyone know how dangerous this flu is in the U.S.? Considering we have a much better medical and sanitary conditions? Anyway I love the pic it's adorable is that you child?

Well, 42 have died in Mexico 
2 in the U.S., both in Texas.

To put things in perspective a bit, here in Canada, where we have about 1/10 the population of the U.S., about 4,000 people die every year from flu complications, mostly seniors.

Thank you Nicole for the post it really concretes my suspicions about this latest “pandemic” not to mention
I bet more people would die in Mexico when a disease strikes just because it is a poorer country and they have less access to good medical care. When it hits Europe and Canada and causes more than 4o some deaths I'll  be worried haha

Naomi, it does seem that there must be good reasons why in Mexico the people who died didn't have other health problems while elsewhere they did - for example see this update here

Thanks Nicole. How do you get this information? And where? I figured it wasn't that much to worry about. Especially considering that people do die from the regular flu too.
Crazy news, is there any hard evidence to support the clain that they are trying to create fear in the hearts of Americans? And sway their opinions to their own agendas whether accurate or not?

Yeah unfortunately. I don't know what we did without internet. The university I'm attending I bet was even more time consuming before they had their own mini websites.
  It's sad that the news would rather induce panic then be a good source of valuable information.

Well, Naomi, they respond to the market, don't they? If we stopped buying into panic, then it would stop being profitable. But that would be a big step forward, hard to foresee at the moment.

Don't you love the Star Trek premise that at some point humans are magically going to give up racism, money, etc etc? :) And yet somehow the humans in the different series talk and act just like us…

I don't really watch star trek but yeah that would be wonderful it almost looks like a pipe dream though I have no clue when it'd actually happen.  I'm guessing people like drama and to be in a state of panic. Do we have this need to always have something stirring up our lives so that we can never have peace?
