a daily offering

I love the anticipation
prior to sitting.. 
a hard fought day,
twists and turns,
mountains and valleys,
darkness and light,
moments of laughter;
despair, anger
resolution..
incomprehension.
awakening and delusion..

all these and more,
so much more,
in the crowded,
yet inherently empty
passage of our daily round..

to offer all of these – everything - up..
offer it all
totally - unreservedly – up..
(for dissolution, disappearing into the
ether of time-gone-by) 
this is the moment
of utter redemption,
letting go of all conception,
opening to the unashamed nothingness
that is our fundamental
state of being..

this is indeed where I feel truly
at peace within my journey,
mishaps, triumphs
and open ended
faith..
