God Pod or Life, the Universe and Everything

A creative, open and playful discussion group on God, spirituality, art, politics… in other words, on life, the universe and everything. Yes, the answer is 42 but what is the question? All are welcome, and invited to engage in  dialogue with love, mindfulness, and respect.

Herbie's Beloved's Teahouse was a place of beautiful poems, pictures, sayings... maybe we can re-create part of it in miniature here by sharing what inspires and illumines us, including spiritual practices...

delving deeply into 'I'

siafu said Dec 7, 2009, 11:13 AM:

contrary to most journeys,
the travel inwards begins
with no movement,
absolute stillness..

as the ability to hold still manifests,
a swelling unfolds, invisibly growing,
until it embraces all, everything..

centre becomes eclipsed by periphery,
margins divide endlessly into the whole,
no comings or goings, to-ings or fro-ings
just open to breath..

with the purity of being
‘I' shines brightly, undimmed divinity
beyond the power of expression
and thought..

welcome home.
