&lt;p&gt;      &lt;span class="blogpostspan"&gt;&lt;em&gt;In general, the blogosphere moves &lt;strong&gt;laterally&lt;/strong&gt;. That&amp;#39;s called &lt;strong&gt;span&lt;/strong&gt;. But the blogosphere doesn&amp;#39;t have to be a &lt;strong&gt;spanning flatland&lt;/strong&gt; all the time. It could use &lt;strong&gt;compassion and depth&lt;/strong&gt;. This is one of the major goals of &lt;a href="../../"&gt;Zaadz Pod: Kosmic Blogging 101&lt;/a&gt; &amp;ndash; to move information not only &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;laterally&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; but especially &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;vertically&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; (e.g. interior development). &lt;a href="http://wilber.shambhala.com/html/books/kosmos/excerptB/part3.cfm"&gt;DEPTH and SPAN&lt;/a&gt;.
