allow me to re-post this:

RETICULUM REX @ Flickr

MR. AND MRS. SCRAM (TOGETHER AT LAST)
Originally uploaded by MY LIFE AS A HAINT.

I started a Flickr group yesterday called RETICULUM REX. In less than a day, it already has 40+ members and counting. This again proves how I can always count on my Flickr buddies. They are not snotty artists. They understand the essence of Creative Commons. They are the more inclusive avant-gardes in my book.

I think it's safe to say that this is the best Flickr group I started so far. It looks very promising. Check out the awesome members and fast growing pool of mashed-up and remixed stuff. If you have a Flickr account and you haven't joined yet, please come in. It's open to everyone.

About RETICULUM REX

Mashups, joint-ventures,copyrighted materials ripped, mixed, and burned with chaos, creativity, compassion, and care….

Don't forget to tag your stuff with ”RETICULUM REX”. Why? Because RETICULUM REX rules!

(NOTE: In the spirit of Flickr Creative Commons, we highly recommend posting stuff licensed with “Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike License”, otherwise, feel free to do whatever.)

P.S. There's also Flickr Groups: ZAADZSTERS check it out and don't get left behind on groovy stuff.

      Fellow Podwans,

I can't stress this enough. All of us should have a good understanding of RETICULUM REX: this is passionate and compassionate blogging with DEPTH and SPAN!

RETICULUM REX rules! is not just fancy expression.

Check out Creative Commons for more info.

"Some Rights Reserved": Building a Layer of Reasonable Copyright

"Too often the debate over creative control tends to the extremes. At one pole is a vision of total control — a world in which every last use of a work is regulated and in which "all rights reserved" (and then some) is the norm. At the other end is a vision of anarchy — a world in which creators enjoy a wide range of freedom but are left vulnerable to exploitation. Balance, compromise, and moderation — once the driving forces of a copyright system that valued innovation and protection equally — have become endangered species. "

RETICULUM REX injunction simply means: rip, mix, and burn with chaos, creativity, compassion, and care.
