Personal Honesty

Someone once said that one can love another when he/she loves him/her self.  I think that this a very true statement since I have seen it prove itself time and time again in my life.  One thing that I would like to add to this saying is that a person has to be first of all hones with himself. Only when honesty is the policy with your own self, then everything else is possible. Does anyone else think anything about this topic?

Stan, you are absolutely correct.  It is even in the Bible when Jesus was asked, “What is the greatest commandment?”, and he said, “ that in order to enter the kingdom of heaven, one must love your neighbor, as one loves him/herself.”  I have also seen it prove itself every time in my life as well.  It is a very true statement.
