I have participated on more than one occasion in mass energy healings or experiments.  The first time was in the 1980s and the Atomic Clock was counting down and I participated in a day long meditation for world peace.  I had a half hour in the sanctuary of my Religious Science (Science of Mind) church in St Louis during the middle of the night.  It was an awesome experience.  The Berlin Wall fell and the old Soviet Union collapsed within a year after that and I will never be able to shake the feeling that I was part of it.

More recently I have participated in Lynne Taggart's The Intention Experiment and, while they have been plagued with technical difficulties, the energy I experienced was also awesome.

I intend to participate in the Fire the Grid meditation for one hour on Tues morning.  If you have a good meditation ability or if you just want to contribute your highest and best thoughts to head off the disasterous direction we are heading in as humanity, please take some time to visit the website.  Or barring that, if you are awake at 6am CDT on Tues morning, please join me and many others (some from Zaadz where I first learned of this - thanks to Aley & Keith) in sending light, love and energy to heal our Mother Earth.

Whether you believe this is possible or no - it is worth trying, is it not?

I've also heard 11:11am as a time…and since I'm not an early morning person since retiring (or ever come to think of it) ….I'll stick to the later one and ask the universe to extrapolate for me;)

Okay, okay I had to look it up…and it's only 11:11 am if I live in Casablanca!

It is 7:11am EDT, so I'll be with you on Tuesday….it is definitely worth trying!

I thought I would post my experience.  While I set an intention to participate in this, I did not anticipate that I would not go to bed until 2am the night before.  On Sunday night, I had experimented with using an alarm, since I needed to rise early to prepare for our day in St Louis.  I'm not sure I would have woken in time except my baby (3 yrs old now) woke at 5am hungry.  I went back to bed with him.  I had the alarm under my pillow because we live in close quarters with all 4 of us sleeping together in one room.  The pillow so muffled the alarm that it would not have waken me had I been sleeping soundly and so, I ruled out using an alarm last night to wake for this event but simply set my intention that I would like to join in.  I wondered briefly how “good” I would be as tired as I was sure to be.

I woke this morning with a start because the room was lighter than I would have hoped and saw it was already halfway into the one hour meditation.  By the time I had gathered myself together and fed the cats (for otherwise they would have worried me unmercifully), I had only 20 mins left but still knew it was worthwhile to join in.

I thought of how I build a fire.  I put dry newspaper in a chimney and add just a few fuel soaked special brickets and then top it with Whole Foods recycled hardwood charcoal.  After putting the fire to the paper, I blow on the flames to cause the fire to flare up strongly.  I realized, by joining in at this point in the meditation, I was in a very real sense blowing on the flames already started, to cause the grid to flare up more strongly.

We have 3 cats.  Our indoor cat we have had a very long time, maybe 15 yrs.  We have 2 new cats, just since early spring, that live on our back porch and in the yard.  One adopted my 6 yr old son just before his birthday.  He is the best cat I've ever known, so perfectly gentle that my son can hauled him around dangling from his arms.  He even joins us in going on walks.  We had him neutered and given shots and wormer and I love that cat very much, for he is the 3rd cat that looks like him that we've had and I believe him the reincarnation of those other cats.

The other outdoor cat is much like him but has not stayed consistently here.  In fact, in the beginning I really didn't want him, did not want to accumulate cats as it is so easy to do in the country when city and town dwellers so often dump them here.  I wanted my in-laws to take the second cat in as he did visit them but they are no longer capable of caring for a pet.  And so, when our gentler cat seemed to accept this last one and when this last one pleaded with me asking what I had against him, I relented and began feeding him.  Still, he did not stay consistently here and after an absence of some time, one day returned with a damaged leg, very thin and messy looking.  It is hard to want to love or cuddle him, he is so mangy at the moment.  We are committed to giving this new cat the care we have given the other as soon as our vet has an openning and we can capture him.

He was on the porch this morning as I joined the meditation in progress.  He meowed to me but I didn't want him distracting me.  Then, I turned my meditation to this thought I had gotten from The Science of Mind Inspirational Prayer & Treatment CD - “I turn away from what is not working, not to deny the reality of what presents but to cease giving it energy”.  I realized that I did not want this cat damaged and ill but whole, perfect and complete.  And then, I began to go through, in my mind, the problems that had been on the Fire the Grid website and one by one, brought them to my mind and intended a turning away from pollution, from global warming, from war, etc.  Realizing that by ceasing to give them energy, I am not “resisting” them, for resisting does give energy to the problem.  This fundamental method has been described by Abraham-Hicks and by The Secret as well.

From there, I simply noticed the early morning light gaining strength, the symphony of morning sounds from birds and other noises around me and thought about happy moments and that all is well and good.  If you joined in this meditation, I would love to hear about your experience, if it is not too personal.

After the meditation this morning, the Fire the Grid website was overwhelmed by traffic.  They seemed to have settled down a bit now and they have a form you can reach by going to the Critical Mass link on the left side where you can acknowledge your participation and experience. 

They seem to have future plans, as after filling out the form, I got the following message -

Hi All,

I'm not one for buying into the precision of when you do this, like in distance healing, it doesnt matter what the time is, it's the intention that counts. Sounds to me like you poured nough love and light into the grid before, duringand after Debs!

I had the great fortune to be presenting to 4 to 500 young people that day. 11.11am I was with group number 2 and I had this sense that this was where I was meant to be.
Inviting young leaders to step forward to lead the dismantling of poverty in the world.
I was expecting to get about 10 young leaders to come forward, in fact 68 stepped up.

My work is taking me into te heart of the community, meeting mums, oap's, youth groups etc, it's amazing really, such a distance from my old life.

Anyway, just wanted to share the joy of a whole school, its surrounding community of about 29000 residents and this boys heart, now pounding with joy and appreciation about what is unfolding before us.

I would say you were doing awesome work at that moment and it appears that the energy pouring throughout the earth at that moment was felt in a very real sense by the young people you were with.

Yes, a precise time should be a good red flag.  I think I was “set up” because I had participated in The Intention Experiment (run by a woman in your country).  Anyway, with the experiment, they are trying to record some scientific measurements.  I believe their thinking is that science will reach some people with the confirmation that thoughts are things and create tangible results.  So, I understand the need for precision with the experiment.

To give the best interpretation of Fire the Grid, it was an attempt to focus an unusually high amount of energy in a particular time frame.  You are quite correct however that time and space are meaningless, when it comes to spiritually.  In fact, that is the basis for metaphysics and its actions - that one does not need to be concerned with time or space at all.  I accept and allow that I was where I needed to be and doing what I needed to be doing before, during and after.

I am honored to know about your work.  I think of you often - especially for disrupting one of my walks.  It is a fond memory.

Keith Martin (Aley / Enlightened Thinker's husband) sent me a message via Facebook today that “they” are doing it again.  I really struggled with this 2 years ago when it took place.  I think I've mellowed to the idea again, without the stress of exactness.

I will ever “meddle” in what is.  That is what loving metaphysics is all about.  And now, I believe, whatever I do or don't do is exactly what I was meant to do.  What I will do in this Fire the Grid practice remains an open question.

I'm sorry, I'm trying to pin down the correct time to meditate. I live in the Detroit Area so I'm on Eastern Daylight Savings Time (EDT) so is it at 12:19 am edt or 7:11 am edt on 7/28? Thanks.

Detroit - Eastern Daylight Time will be 6:19pm (18:19)

(Missouri - Central Daylight Time will be 5:19pm or 17:19)

Probably worth reading, as a retrospective of Fire the Grid 2007.  It is a Princeton University study of the impact of the original group meditation.

Fire the Grid TODAY Jul 28 5:19 CDT

I began preparing myself inwardly yesterday evening.  About 8 hrs to go, as I post this.  I have a strategy for how I will participate.  My understanding is that we are toenvision our world as we would desire to see it manifest.  

The timing should be almost perfect for my own daily routine.  I expect to be in the forest, and doing my thing, at the appropriate time; unless my family situation gets in the way of that plan somehow.  In which case, I'll improvise.  Of course.

Lars,

This is how I felt after the first 2007 FTG.  Now, so what?  So what if she is in her own delusion?  I've been listening to her YouTube Interviews for FTG II while gazing through the posts here.

Shelley seems to believe what she believes.  It feels like she does believe it to me.  Is she correct about it?  How can I know?  My thought is - I give my energy freely all the time, to all kinds of circumstances and people, so why not? 

I have my moments of doubt and skepticism.  Like why do I want some non-physical beings “marking” me?  Well, I would be out hiking - sending all kinds of love, peace & joy out into my forest anyway, just out of my own joy and bliss at being that way.  

If they are seeking Beings like me around that time, participating or not, I'm there.  What the heck?  I'll just be me.  If it does good - wonderful.  I want a good quality of life for my kids and their kids … and my grandkids and their kids.

My energy can do no harm, as harm is never in my intention - regardless of how scary something tries to convince me it is.

Peace & Blessings.

The energy as I was leaving out on my hike seemed a bit tense, I left 10 or 15 mins early.  I think it was just IN-TENSE-I-TY.  I got used to it pretty quickly but could feel the speed of it.

I went somewhere special.  Saw gold sparkles and bright gold light shifting to a beautiful pale blue.  

Continued to hike and feel love, peace & joy.

A good day's work … inspired to leave Peace & Blessings to known Gaian participants.

I did the FTG yesterday listening to an Om chant and being present to the moment….amazing to share the love, peace, joy and possibilities so powerfully.

I started listening to the YouTube by Shelley, but I didn't resonate with what she was saying.  So like you Deb, I chose to participate with my own loving intention and leave the part that didn't click with me.
