365 Science of Mind p. 332 Love There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear… [for] God is love ~ 1 John 4:18, 16 There is no fear in love, and there is no liberation from fear without love. Fear is always based on the supposition that we are unprotected, rejected, friendless. If the fearful mind would entertain love, and the harmony and peace that go with it, it must turn from everything that denies this love and, trusting in Divine Guidance, open its being to the influx of love - not just love of God, but love of everything, for love is an all-inclusive conception. “I will fear no evil for thou art with me.” Today Divine love and infinite tenderness sustain me. In order that I shall not separate myself from this love, I endeavor to see it reflected in everyone and everything. I shall permit only that which is loving, kind, and true to find entrance to or to exit from my consciousness. Thus shall I be assured that I am bathed in the warm glow of that Love that casteth out all fear. Love is the self-givingness of the Spirit through the desire of Life to express Itself in terms of creation. ~ The Science of Mind, P. 608 |

A Year With Rumi by Coleman Barks Raw, Well-Cooked, and Burnt You ask, Why do you cry with such sweetness all around? I weep as I make the honey, wearing the shirt of a bee, and I refuse to share this suffering. I play the sky's harp. I curl around my treasure like a snake. You say, What is this I business? Friend, I've been a long time away from that. What you see here is your own reflection. I am still raw, and at the same time well-cooked, and burnt to a crisp. No one can tell if I'm laughing or weeping. I wonder myself. How can I be separated and yet in union? |

Kabbalah 365 - Daily Fruit from the Tree of Life Day 313 Greater are the deeds of the righteous than the Creation of Heaven and Earth (Babylonian Talmud, Ketuvot 5a). What did the sages mean by this? For the creation of Heaven and Earth was the act of creating something out of nothing, whereas the deeds of the righteous create nothing out of something. All the actions of the righteous, even seemingly ordinary actions such as eating, transform the corporeal - the Some-Thing - into the realm of the Divine - the No-Thing. - Eighteenth-century Rabbi Dov Baer of Mezeritch in Likuttei Amarim 2b |

Floating on a stream of unconditional thankfulness, I feel wholeness in my heart. I think wholeness in my thoughts. I act with wholeness in mind—here, now, and always! |
