I don't think I need proof that there is other life in the Universe. I think it's pretty small minded to think that we are the only ones in the Universe.

I personnaly think it's just another hoax. Reminds me of a Twilight Zone episode. Where aliens come to bring people back to their planet and the scientist comes running off the ship yelling, we were wrong in the translation! It's a cookbook on how to cook humans! LOL

I found it! YouTube is awesome! It's an episode called “To Serve Men” and you can see the whole thing, but here's the ending

This just doesn't feel right. There is something about it that I can't put my finger on.

I'm with you.  It may just be another one of those energetic things that happen on the net.  And I agree, that we can't simply assume it is benign, if it is true.  In fact, the pre-announcement makes me more suspicious, than if they just showed up.  And long ago, I did see something in the sky that was very, very wierd - which remains a huge mystery of my life and unexplained.

I, for one, am looking forward to the day, in the witnessing and observing mode.  I'll just be living like I do everyday.

Yeah, cookbook for humans.  The Simpsons do a take off on that old Twilight Zone.  Wikipedia specifically says “This episode parodies ”To Serve Man”, an episode of The Twilight Zone.”  Look at the 3rd episode of Season Two.  There are a series of shorts in these Treehouse of Horror episodes they make for Halloween.  This one is called Hungry are the Damned. 

Ah, a possibly internet spoof, just in time for Halloween.  I think I remember an alien theme in some show where the mom's don't realize they've got aliens with the kids in the car (I think its some real old movie spoof) because everyone is dressed up for trick or treating.

Here's the Simpson story in brief (courtesy of Wikipedia) -

The Simpsons are abducted by extraterrestrial life forms. The aliens introduce themselves as Kang and Kodos, and tell the Simpsons that they are taking them to their home planet. En route they present the family with enormous amounts of food and watch eagerly as they gorge themselves.

Lisa is suspicious, so she sneaks into the kitchen where she finds a book called How To Cook Humans. She takes the book and confronts the aliens with it. They inform her that part of the title was obscured by space dust, which they blow away to reveal the title How To Cook For Humans.

Lisa, skeptical at this, blows off more space dust, revealing the title to be How To Cook Forty Humans. The aliens blow off the last of the space dust, finally revealing the real title How To Cook For Forty Humans, allegedly proving that the aliens were trying to treat the humans well.

Enraged at Lisa's distrust, they return the Simpsons to Earth, but not before rubbing in how she ruined their chance of paradise on the aliens' home planet.

Yes, I remember seeing that movie which end with the cookbook a loooong time ago. Thought it was pretty funny.

What’s happening, I dunno, I might be just a hoax going on but even then it’s interesting.
I personally like some of the interpretations of opening up to new inner portals. I’ve been having such intitations years ago at meetings centered around contact with White Eagle.Sometimes the outer manifestation of some inner changes can have quite some earth time in between.
To me it’s an interesting thing to see that perhaps now that is happening more on a global level.
