Yes, you're right, Deb. This group plants seeds and keeps moving on....I was so surprised to see that my latest blog had these words from my Power of Light post earlier!

"We plant a seed, provide its nourishment, then step back to allow it to sprout.
When it rains, even the desert blooms.
Plant an idea, or give advice and allow the other needed space and privacy to choose it or let it go." [from my post on The Power of LIght]

I love the way that the same ideas come to so many; and some are willing to give their lives, their privacy and their space, to disseminate them. And if we're able to be still and expanded, the words from books just come to us. Before a word is written down, where is it?

This is the first time I ever drew this card - 27 Healing from Osho Zen Tarot -

The Osho site says of this card -

You carry your wound. With the ego, your whole being is a wound. And you carry it around. Nobody is interested in hurting you, nobody is positively waiting to hurt you; everybody is engaged in safeguarding his own wound. Who has got the energy? But still it happens, because you are so ready to be wounded, so ready, just waiting on the brink for anything.

You cannot touch a man of Tao. Why? - because there is no one to be touched. There is no wound. He is healthy, healed, whole. This word whole is beautiful. The word heal comes from the whole, and the word holy also comes from the whole. He is whole, healed, holy.

Be aware of your wound. Don't help it to grow, let it be healed; and it will be healed only when you move to the roots. The less the head, the more the wound will heal; with no head there is no wound. Live a headless life. Move as a total being, and accept things.

Just for twenty-four hours, try it - total acceptance, whatsoever happens. Someone insults you, accept it; don't react, and see what happens. Suddenly you will feel an energy flowing in you that you have not felt before.

Commentary:
It is a time when the deeply buried wounds of the past are coming to the surface, ready and available to be healed.

The figure in this card is naked, vulnerable, open to the loving touch of existence. The aura around his body is full of light, and the quality of relaxation, caring and love that surrounds him is dissolving his struggle and suffering. Lotuses of light appear on his physical body, and around the subtle energy bodies that healers say surround each of us. In each of these subtle layers appears a healing crystal or pattern.

When we are under the healing influence of the King of Water we are no longer hiding from ourselves or others. In this attitude of openness and acceptance we can be healed, and help others also to be healthy and whole.

Just for Today, I WILL lighten up and act like a child, see the humor in the children's antics and will absolutely NOT become unglued at the ballet if they act like little boys. At least it is a ballet school and many children are involved. It is opening night for this season's offering.

Togetherness
I cherish my time with friends and family throughout the Christmas season.

Holiday celebrations with family and coworkers are meant to be joyful. But on occasion, I may feel anxious about them. I take a moment now to consciously release any tension I am experiencing, any unrealistic expectations I've placed upon myself or others. I become flexible and accepting. In so doing, I am better able to enjoy the spontaneity of each event.

I greet my dear ones with love, appreciating the unique qualities they bring to each gathering. Throughout the holiday season, I affirm silently, I behold the Christ in you, whether I am looking in the mirror or looking into the eyes of another. I cherish our times of togetherness this Christmas.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.--2 Corinthians 13:13

I've been reading a LOT of OSHO and really resonate with a LOT of what he said.

One of my favorite books is The Book of Secrets.

I can read a paragraph and have to put the book down for a couple of days to really digest what was said. Pretty powerful, life changing, belief crushing book!
Warnings should be on the cover of this book! LOL

Hmmm...Mme Blavatsky and seeds...you're getting me to read Osho today, Denise! He's saying things that I 'love to say'!!! We've been talking abt advice on Gaia Networking, and that's how I look at advice or a suggestion - plant a seed then step away and let it grow in its own time [or not].

So, knowing you are doing the same, I do not expect a response to mine!! LOL!

The founder of the Theosophical movement, MADAME BLAVATSKY, used to carry two bags on both her shoulders -- big bags -- full of seeds. Wherever she would travel... if she was traveling in a train, SHE WOULD sit by the side of the window and GO ON THROWING SEEDS.

She might never come across that patch of land again.

People were puzzled and they would ask, 'WHAT YOU ARE DOING?'

She would say, 'These are beautiful seeds, AND WHEN THE RAINS COME THEY WILL BLOOM.'

Those people were naturally puzzled. They would say, 'WILL YOU BE
COMING THIS WAY AGAIN?'

She would say, 'I am a world traveler, I MAY NEVER COME AGAIN... BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER! Somebody will pass, somebody will see the flowers, somebody will be happy. That is enough.

Just to conceive of it, to contemplate on it... that next time after
the rains... and when this train goes by, THOUSANDS OF PASSENGERS WILL BE ABLE TO SMELL THOSE FLOWERS! To see those colors is more than enough! What more one can ask?'

The Prayer of Faith (James 5:15)

The prayer of faith is an unconditional belief in both the ability and the desire of Spirit to hear and answer. The prayer of faith heals the sick through the law which says that whatever images of thought are held in the subjective side of mind will tend to appear in the body, or in the body of affairs.

When the prayer of faith penetrates the subjective thought and neutralizes false images, then the sick are raised into health. Even God cannot heal the sick, unless this psychological change takes place in the inner creative thought. All is love but all is law: one balances the other. Law cannot, and will not, depart from its nature.

When we pray, believing, we erase false ideas from our inner thought, then the Spirit can make the gift of health. When we admit the light, it comes in, since there is no way it could enter except through a receptive mind.

If we could give up our diseases - offer them on the altar of faith to the Giver of all life - we would be healed. It is not easy to release our troubles; we are prone to linger with them. But, by effectual and fervent prayer, we gradually loose false thought into its native nothingness. God is perfect life, and when we enter His light, we are healed.

The Confession of Mistakes (James 5:16)

James tells us to confess our faults. This thought suggests one of the great psychological truths of the inner nature. Psychoanalysis - which is the analysis of the soul or subjective mind - is a scientific method for the erasure of false beliefs. It is often forgiveness of sins, done in a scientific manner.

Our minds are burdened with many things. Often our religions - which should automatically balance our mentalities - suppress them, and create morbidness on the subjective side of thought. This happens when we feel condemned for our mistakes. The Bible tells us that God will blot out these mistakes and remember them no more against us forever. This is complete removal and erasure of all mistakes. How could it be different ? God is of pure eye and perfect mind; He is perfect Spirit. When we enter this Spirit and bare our souls to Its great light, we loose our troubles and are healed.

The confession of sins, or mistakes, helps us to let go of troubles, and to feel that the Universe holds nothing against us. Sin means making mistakes, and while we continue to make them, we continue to perpetuate their dire results. We should come daily to the Spirit of Goodness for a complete washing away of all mistakes, fears and troubles.

The man who feels that his mistakes can be blotted out, is in a better psychological position, than the one who thinks God will not forgive. We should learn to let go of our mistakes and remember them no longer against ourselves. Nothing is gained by holding to past errors. The best thing to do is to let go of and forget them altogether.

It is scientific to consciously let go all our troubles. It is most unwise to hold them. Some will say that it is right that we should suffer for our past errors. It is right that we should suffer; we already have done so and will continue to do so until we pay the last farthing. BUT THE LAST FARTHING IS PAID WHEN WE LET GO AND TRUST IN THE LAW OF GOOD.

It is impossible for a sane person to belief that God delights in condemning or damning anyone. God is natural Goodness and eternal Loving-kindness, and holds nothing against anyone. (deb's note - Michael Bernard Beckwith describes his first word for God as " Love Beauty ".)

We suffer so long as we make mistakes. We are healed when we come to the Spirit for that cleansing which takes away the mistakes of the world, converting them into great lessons, ever pointing the way to Truth and beauty; to life, health, happiness and success.

It is scientific for one to consciously let go of his troubles and errors, feeling that they no longer affect him. He has learned the lesson that false ideas do not pay and is willing and glad to turn from all that hurts to the Great Light. And the Spirit, because of Its nature of Wholeness, is ever ready to take him in Its embrace and make him whole again.

Yesterday, I drew this card from Osho Zen Tarot - # 6 The Lovers.

Osho's site says of this card -

These three things are to be taken note of: the lowest love is sex - it is physical - and the highest refinement of love is compassion. Sex is below love, compassion is above love; love is exactly in the middle.

Very few people know what love is. Ninety-nine percent of people, unfortunately, think sexuality is love - it is not. Sexuality is very animal; it certainly has the potential of growing into love, but it is not actual love, only a potential....

If you become aware and alert, meditative, then sex can be transformed into love. And if your meditativeness becomes total, absolute, love can be transformed into compassion. Sex is the seed, love is the flower, compassion is the fragrance.

Buddha has defined compassion as love plus meditation. When your love is not just a desire for the other, when your love is not only a need, when your love is a sharing, when your love is not that of a beggar but an emperor, when your love is not asking for something in return but is ready only to give - to give for the sheer joy of giving - then add meditation to it and the pure fragrance is released. That is compassion; compassion is the highest phenomenon.

Commentary:
What we call love is really a whole spectrum of relating, reaching from the earth to the sky. At the most earthy level, love is sexual attraction. Many of us remain stuck there, because our conditioning has burdened our sexuality with all kinds of expectations and repressions. Actually the biggest "problem" with sexual love is that it never lasts. Only if we accept this fact can we then really celebrate it for what it is - welcome its happening, and say good-bye with gratitude when it's not.

Then, as we mature, we can begin to experience the love that exists beyond sexuality and honors the unique individuality of the other. We begin to understand that our partner often functions as a mirror, reflecting unseen aspects of our deeper self and supporting us to become whole.

This love is based in freedom, not expectation or need. Its wings take us higher and higher towards the universal love that experiences all as one.

Everybody takes himself and others seriously. That's the way of the
ego to exist. Start being a little more playful and you will see ego
evaporating. Take life non seriously, as a joke -- yes, as a cosmic
joke. Laugh a little more. Laughter is far more significant than
prayer. Prayer may not destroy your ego; on the contrary, it may make it holy, pious, but laughter certainly destroys your ego. When you are really in a state of laughter, have you observed? -- the ego
disappears for a moment. You are again a child, giggling. Again you
have forgotten that you are special. You are no longer serious; for a
moment you have removed your fixation.

That's why I love jokes -- they are poison to your ego! You would like me to talk about serious things: astral planes and how many bodies men have, seven or nine, and how many chakras. And every day there are questions -- esoteric, occult. These are the serious people. They have fallen in a wrong company! I am not serious at all. I don't laugh with you because that is part of telling a joke: the person who tells it has to be very serious, he cannot laugh with you. All my laughter I have to do alone.

But my approach towards life is utterly nonserious, playful, because
in my experience this is how the ego disappears. Watch when you laugh: where is the ego? Suddenly you have melted, suddenly you are liquid, no more solid, but flowing. You are not old, experienced,
knowledgeable. Listen to this joke and try to find out whether the ego remains or not.

This is a beautiful interpretation by Ms McClure of the Tao to parenting. I absolutely resonated with this segment -

When you deliver
harsh, judgmental consequences,
you are trying to do nature's job.
Like an inexperienced carpenter,
you are bound to make a mess of
it and only hurt yourself.

This Christmas my favorite carol is "Joy to the World". In one sense, it goes along so beautifully with my practice of the Gaia Minute. I also see how beautifully it goes along with The Tao of Motherhood.

And Heaven & Nature do sing ! ! !

We are only here for the weekend. Against the backdrop of billions of years of the existence of our universe, our time on this earth is an unfathomable infinitesimal fraction of fraction of a second. Yet, we each come into this world with the air of an expert, posing great questions of why does this happen, why that, where is God in times of crises, why do the innocent suffer, and so on. It is akin to someone visiting a foreign country for a few hours and griping about the cultural nuances that are alien to his mindset, because he is not learned in the ways of that land or its culture. Likewise is it with being in this life, in this world. Indeed, ask your questions. Complain as you wish. But remember, you just got here, and you are only here for the weekend.

I Take the Christ Way to Fulfillment

When Jesus said, "No man cometh unto the Father but by me", of course, he meant the I AM. This I AM, then, means the inner Reality of every man's nature, and when we stop to figure it out, how can we come unto God, the Living Spirit, except through the avenues of our own consciousness, which is the only approach to God we could possibly have ? It is another way of saying that the only way we shall ever approach Reality is by uncovering the Divinity already latent within our own consciousness, in our own soul, in the center of our own being.

Every man is Divine and the Christ Way is the way of the unfoldment of his Divinity through his humanity; the uncovering of his spiritual individuality and the use that his personal man, or his personality, makes of it. Meditation is for the purpose of consciously recognizing man's Divinity and uncovering it. In order to come into the Christ Way, into the consciousness of our own Divinity, we lay aside every fear or doubt or worry, and we enter into the silent, peaceful contemplation that the Spirit of the Living God is within us - all the Power there is, all the Presence there is, and all the Life there is, is right here. Each one turns to himself, knowing that:

"The Spirit within me is God, that Spirit is perfect, and because that Spirit is perfect, my knowledge of that Spirit destroys every doubt, every fear, casts out all uncertainty and all unbelief, and fills me with a knowledge of my own perfection. There is that within me which is perfect, Divine, happy and whole and harmonious. There is that within me that has never been afraid, never been limited, and it is this Christ Nature within me that I now recognize and speak into manifestation through my being; that the Spirit within me, which is perfect, shall remove every consciousness of disease, shall stimulate activity and recognize perfect circulation of these Divine ideas, and establish within me, not only the knowledge of that Divine Perfection which I really am, but shall establish in my physical being a manifestation of that knowledge of Reality, or the realization of that Presence, and whatever there might be within me, which does not belong, is now eliminated, cast out and destroyed.

"Divine Guidance IS, and that Perfect Intelligence is now governing the activity of my life into the fulfillment of joy, into the fulfillment of love, of unity, of happiness and success, now and at all times."

Abundance
I am blessed beyond measure.

I am grateful for the simple things in life--streets decorated with colored lights, the night sky ablaze with a thousand tiny stars. I am struck by the beauty that is mine to enjoy.

During a meal with friends, I notice the many ways I am nourished, body and soul. When the sun warms my face or I pull a coat around me against the cold wind, I feel enfolded in the love of God. Lending a helping hand to a stranger or sharing a word of encouragement with a child, I am reminded of all that I have to give.

I count my blessings for the small things, and I am grateful for the abundant good in my life. In large and small ways, I am blessed.

Joseph stored up grain in such abundance--like the sand of the sea--that he stopped measuring it; it was beyond measure.--Genesis 41:49
