Thought some of you might enjoy the notes from this Gregg Braden interview as much as I did. For me, this was a concise summary of The Divine Matrix. It was full of insights for me and helped me understand the “science” of Abraham teachings. Abraham has new profound meaning for me these days.
1. Gregg: I was trained in the hard sciences. In the 60's and 70's there was no room for the thoughts and feelings within.
2. Two assumptions where science got it wrong:
1.) The space that we believe is empty is not empty at all.
2.) It is a fact that we have experiences inside our bodies that affect the outside of us.
3. Science is good but simply incomplete.
4. We're now beginning to understand that there are things we can do in our bodies that influence the physical reality of our world.
5. It is now a scientific fact that the space between things is anything but empty. It is full of a living, pulsating essence that is so new to us that scientists don't agree on a term. It has been called the Field, a Quantum Hologram, Nature's Mind, the Mind of God.
6. In 1944 Max Planck identified it and called it “The Matrix”.
7. We have the opportunity to influence the matrix and it's THROUGH THE HUMAN HEART. Indigenous cultures have known it for years. It can happen in a matter of minutes.
8. When three practitioners in Bejing saw a woman's tumor and saw her in her wellness, the tumor shrank immediately. They saw her cancerous tumor and invited in a new quantum possibility. It changed on the level of a quantum blueprint–allowing the new possibility to exist without judging the one that already exists.
9. Affirmations don't work when done from the level of mind only. An empty affirmation is a thought with no energy.
10. The thought is important. It is the IMAGE of the quantum possibility. We can reach in to a possibility with our mind and lock into it, but we must MARRY IT WITH EMOTION in order for it to manifest.
11. It is those FEELINGS that we have throughout our lives that create.
12. The Divine Matrix is a mirror of our world and it can only give us what we have given it to work with.
13. The power of thought and feeling was edited out of our sacred texts in the 4th century. 45 books were removed and 20 were taken out completely.
14. “Thinking” identifies with the upper three energy centers–centers of logic processes.
15. Thought can only be invited into our lives when we breathe the power of emotion into that thought. The emotion comes from the lower three creative centers in our bodies.
16. **When we breathe the power of emotion into our thought, we imbue that thought with life and those two energies meet in the middle center–the heart center where feeling arises.
17. FEELING IS THE UNION OF THOUGHT AND EMOTION.
18. We are capable of only TWO primary emotions–love and it's opposite.
19. When we have a thought and we breathe in the emotion of love of the thought or fear of the thought, feelings are created.
20. Without the missing texts, we rely strictly on the written word for all our validation and truth.
21. Now from the missing texts we know that we can move mountains by marrying thought and emotions together.
22. Gregg: I went to a monastery in Tibet and asked the Abbot, “When we see your prayers–the chanting, incense, bowls, etc….what is happening on the inside?” The abbot replied, “You have never seen our prayers. The prayers are the FEELINGS on the inside. The outer things that you see are there to create the feelings.”
23. The Abbot asked, “How do you do it in your culture?” Gregg: I realized that when we lost the language of feelings, we used only the words as the prayer, and then often felt that the prayer hadn't “worked”.
24. Gregg: I asked the abbot, “What is the force that holds everything together?” The Abbot replied with one word: Compassion. That says that the glue that holds everything together is a FEELING in our bodies.
25. How do we know we're part of all that is? An experiment in 1997 in Geneva, Switzerland showed that when you take a particle of matter and split it–taking the split particles in separate directions several miles apart, the particles still have the same experience.
26. All the particles of matter that are now expanding were once meshed into a single particle the size of a green pea. We were once all part of that same single particle. So, even though we are now expanding, we are energetically still linked.
27. When we lost the information that we are part of all that we see, we became technological and separate.
28. Now, to survive this time in history, we will need to return to our hearts.
29. Human emotion, feeling and belief is a language that the field understands. The field works in real time–the NOW.
30. The key is to be specific about what we are choosing to have in our NOW life. We must lock into the nebulous soup of quantum possibilities. [My thought–Abraham describes this as “choosing a better feeling thought.”]
31. We have a power within us that transcends the laws of physics. We are more than those laws.
