Meow.

That's cat speak for hello!!

Um.. I'm Ashley.. I was invited to this group by Meenakshi!

I am an avid animal lover.. all animals are amazing in their own right but….

I'm a cat person.. which to me means I'm very much associated with the feline way of life. i.e. I pass out whenever and where ever I please and only pay attention when I feel inclined to do so.

I have a cat named Zwitter. He is my child… my family has accepted this. :P

Zwitter is almost 9 years old and is FeLV positive. FeLV is feline leukemia viris. Although it's not a virus. It effects the the red blood cells like cancer does but does it in a way that it is comparable to aids. and humans are NOT succeptable to it.

Most cats only live a couple of years with the disease. Zwitter is 7 years past his expiration date and still healthy as can be!

 I am NOT a dog person.. I've had a few dogs that have touched my life and given me understanding what the term “man's best friend” means.. but for the most part.. I stick to the feline persuasion.

Right now I am harboring two pit bull puppies that belong to my sister.. they are adorable and sweet and loving and playful and GOD I CAN'T WAIT TILL MY SISTER MOVES INTO HER NEW APARTMENT SO SHE CAN TAKE THEM WITH HER. :P but if I was ever to get a dog.. a pit bull would be the breed.  

Their names are Ziggy and M.J.

Um.. I don't participate much in forums these days.. but when I do.. I have alot to say. (as you can see)

I hope to connect with you all in a way that only animal lovers can.

oh i LOVE cats! so very cute. though i love dogs so very much, i love cats also! i'd love to have both when i have my own place ^_^ get both as young'ins so i can watch them grow up together and be tight as ever!

aw…i'm sorry that your kitty has that disease, but i'm happy that he is a fighter! GO ZWITTER, GO!! ROCK ON!!!

^_^ puppies are so very cute.. though it does bite when you have to watch things against your will…even if they are cute. you just worry about them and stuff..well, i worry. i'm a bit of a worry wart!

Hi Ashley, I love cats too, would love a kitty - a little black one - met with a beautiful dog yesterday, he loves sitting on feet and my arms got so many licks - he was just so friendly!

Nicole! I remember your meow crossing the bridge I think.. and again.. Much love.. I know how loosing an animal is. :( but on the bright side.. I hope you and your son find the cat your looking for that can be just as much apart of your family as your last.
