Carers make the best nurses in the world because they do it with love for a loved one, but thay can't do it alone, nor should they try to they need support from family and community, they need respite and some time to rest like we all do. They need professional nurses,and physiotherapists and nutritionists etc working cooperatively with research based...(more) and audited holistic skills to involve them in planning care for their loved ones, with respect for their unique beliefs and individuality. Most patient care is given in the community, funding should be allocated accordingly. We need to work together. (less)
