Two hours later he calls. After the baby and I have finally ended the ugly screaming scene, after the calls, the tears, the drive. My poor tired body, and that poor tired baby!! All we wanted was some love. I had done it!!! The baby is asleep, but now he is on his way. Now he wants to help, when the work is done. Something like wanting to talk after he packed, and wanting to celebrate our anniversary after he had already left. He always wants to fix things once the damage has been done…..is it worth the nonsense to have a father for my sons…I'd like to think that I am worth more than that. I know I am, if I could just reach out of this cloudy pit of despair and feel the warmth. Just once more..
