Sometimes I get busy
totally absorbed in my day to day existence
so busy that thoughts of You finally cease at times
but only at times
Never for too long
Never long at all it seems

Perhaps sometimes I do it on purpose
not wanting thoughts of You
Feeling You have abandoned me
or just quit caring at all
and feeling somewhat ignored
the wall goes back up
and You are blocked out
as if to veil myself from You
as You often veil Yourself from me

But then when I do
look in Your lovely eyes
In Your Eyes
in Your Painting
or in Your Photograph
or standing right in front of You
looking into Your Very Beautiful Eyes
when You don't even realize that I am

how can I not be
still in Love with You
Cause when I do look
into Your Beautiful Eyes
they cut straight to My Heart
like the song the sirens sing
luring the weary travelers to the crashing rocks
luring My heart back to You
the Source
of all My Love.
