Mayan Tzolken Calendar

The ancient Mayan civilization used spiral
mathematics to chart time accurately over a span
of more than ten million years. The Tzolken calendar
is based on a 26,000 year cycle that repeats on Dec.
21, 2012. According to the Mayan elders at sun rise
on the winter solstice of 2012, for the first time in
13,000 years, the solar meridian crosses the
galactic equator causing the earth to align itself
with the center of the galaxy. This alignment will
raise all to a higher level of consciousness.

Dear Princess! Thank you so much posting these lovely pictures. Some of them are so beatiful that I decided to use them in my presentations where I teach the Mayan Calendar.
I think the text you have copied and the image below are explaining about the theory of Jenkins, about the Galactic Allignment.
I posted a recent discussion that also touches this point.
The end of Mayan calendar is not just and end of 26.000 years period, but an end of a 16.4 years period. And that means the transformation of our planet is truly going to be amazing.
