No Rysa, you are not jumping in too fast. This pod is here for people to share what they know about the Mayan calendar and every contribution helps us to expand our consciousness. Why? Because according to my own perspective Calleman goes beyond what Arguelles suggests and what Jenkins suggests. How? Let me explain. Arguelles is the first modern researcher that succeeds to pull attention to the Mayan calendar, in a worldwide scale. You can find about what he has contributed and his invention called the “Dreamspell” at here. John Major Jenkins comes after Arguelles and he also has very important contributions in the name of understanding the Mayan calendar. Firstly, he argues and proves that the Dreamspell is not in correct resonance with the true Tzolkin count that the Mayas have been counting flawlessly for thousands of years. Second, he finds out that the end date of the Long count intersects with a Galactic event called “precession” or “galactic alignment” He also argues that the Long Count (which is a time period that lasts for 5126 years) is only one of the 5 ages. So he says that we are not only coming to the end of a 5126 years period, we are also coming to end of a 26.000 years period. Well, that sounds pretty amazing doesn’t it? Now when we come to Calleman and his research and interpretation of the Mayan calendar, things start to go beyond all that. Are you ready for this? Allright. Calleman says that the end of the Mayan calendar, which is about to come within a couple of years, is the end of 9 levels of time-periods (or consciousness levels). Long Count is only one of these 9 levels, and, the longest of these time periods started around 16.4 billion years ago… That is before our solar system was born, that is before our galaxy was even born. That is around when the scientists forecast as the birth time of our universe, the Big Bang. Furthermore, Calleman is able to explain how to track the evolution of consciousness (that is all the Mayan calendar is about) as accurate and exact as possible. Well, that is all explained in his books and in his website.
At a further level of discussion, Calleman’s research separates itself from the other two because it brings about the fact that the Mayan calendar is a spiritual based calendar and it really has not much to do with the astronomical cycles and events. Remember Jenkins talks about a Galactic alignment. However, if the Mayan calendar can be dated back to the birth of the universe, does it really depend on the astronomical events? Great mystery, is not it?
Well, I am feeling that the time is coming for humanity to come closer to truth and reveal the greatest mystery of our time. This could be done in following these, according to my opinion: - Follow the true Tzolkin count, rather than the Dreamspell. - Track the pattern of 7 days and 6 nights, with being aware of their repetitions in each of these 9 levels of time/consciousness. - Being aware that the Mayan calendar is a spiritual based calendar, and perceive the time cycles independent from the movements of the physical bodies (sun, moon, planets) - Knowing that “NOW” is more important than the end date. - Following the 20 day and 13 day cycles of the Tzolkin, trying to connect intuitively with each day’s energy. I wonder what you think. This question is for everybody.. Please folks, feel free to ask any questions or give your own comments. |
