Hello!  I'm joining this pod both for the serious talk on media issues, big vs. grass roots, DIY, etc. and also for just the fun of talking about movies, the internet, etc.

I'm a news junkie and can't keep myself from trolling for news on the web.  I don't get cable though, putting that money into internet bandwidth instead.  A trade-off that is becoming more and more common, I  think…
