Hello – My name is Laurie Buchanan and I'm a Holistic Health Practitioner.  My specific areas of focus are Energy Medicine, Personal Development and Spiritual Growth.

I have been part of Gaia since December of 2006 and thoroughly enjoy being part of this heart-based online community – finding it a privilege to interact with other environmentally and spiritually conscious people.

I have been in love with and married to Len Buchanan for almost 30 years.  We will celebrate our 30th anniversary on March 17, 2010 – St. Patrick's Day.  He is not only my romantic partner, he is my business partner as well.

When the innate love deep within you
is liberated and revealed to yourself by your own wisdom mind
it will shine brightly and spontaneously
like a brilliant gem that has simply been dusted off

The knowing that you yourself are the source of light
is what allows the light to radiate out to begin with
and that radiant light is what others will experience
and it is what will attract a particuliar type of person to you

The not knowing that you yourself are the source
is what keeps the light hidden from view
and this too is what others will experience
and it is what will attract another type of person to you

Hello, I'm Barb, new to this group and pleased to be part of it.  I'm newly married as of this past July…and like our group's founders, I met my husband on the internet, but not here on gaia though we both are members here.  Being in love is the most wonderful feeling, and the more love you feel in your life, it seems to me the more you have to give to others.  I look forward to sharing thoughts and feelings about loving with all of you!

There's no separation between us and the world
the love we learn from our partner
benefits all our other relationships as well
(and it works the going the other way too)

I'm writing to say hello. I'm blogging about spiritual dating and soulmates and wanted to get other people's thoughts. It's a time of great shifts, and how people meet, connect, and fall in love will need to be different in many ways. I'm exploring and thinking and most likely experiencing how that may form.
