I am co-creator and owner of a business that manufactures recycled feedstocks into new material forms, extending the life of extracted natural resources. I am a deeply spiritual mystic and mother, living in a beautiful wilderness area of Missouri. I have 2 young children, ages 4-1/2 and 8 and a grown daughter, age 35 with 2 young children of her own, my 10 yr old grandson and 6 yr old granddaughter. I can be found almost any day working in the Gaian group that I cultivate - Living Metaphysics - or helping to moderate the new Gaian community project found in the One Light Many Windows group.

My SecondLife name is easy to recognize debyemm Afterthought. Being in SL is like an afterthought that I know not where it may lead but now I'm there, none-the-less.

Whatever could I be thinking? Now I find myself joining yet another online community, thanks to Happiness's blog on Yeats today. Where to find the luxury of "free" time?, I haven't a clue. But I feel less alone and insecure, seeing a friendly face is also there.

The obvious place to start I suppose would be Truthseeker's avatar. This slender creature of vague Meso-American or possibly African descent undergoes the occasional modification but some features have stayed in situ, more or less since we met: The back pointing open jaw, displaying an ominous set of teeth ready to bite the living daylights out of anyone who would dare to sneak up on this seemingly frail individual from behind... The staff, of course. The staff has had its share of transformations, however it is always there, in all of its glory...

Here is a video that explains how to use a new tool from Google. It is a nice way to learn about Ancient Rome, because you get the 3D mass along with the significance for whatever area you are interested in. I really like the balance of mass and significance so I thought I would share this with you:

LONDON, England (CNN) -- A British couple who married in a lavish Second Life wedding ceremony are to divorce after one of them had an alleged "affair" in the online world. Amy Taylor, 28, said she had caught husband David Pollard, 40, having sex with an animated woman. The couple, who met in an Internet chatroom in 2003, are now separated.

"I went mad -- I was so hurt. I just couldn't believe what he'd done," Taylor told the Western Morning News. "It may have started online, but it existed entirely in the real world and it hurts just as much now it is over."

Second Life allows users to create alter egos known as "avatars" and interact with other players, forming relationships, holding down jobs and trading products and services for a virtual currency convertible into real life dollars. iReport.com: Share your stories from Second Life

Taylor said she had caught Pollard's avatar having sex with a virtual prostitute: "I looked at the computer screen and could see his character having sex with a female character. This inaugural event is the result of many months of hard work and preparations: in March 2008, Leou Aeon was accepted as an artist in residence on Angel Gate Island, and he has since then conceived and built his studio/residence. This unique and integral space takes the shape of a multi-platform complex composed of a classroom, an art gallery, a lounge and several meditation areas.

Second Life is a 3D virtual reality that offers unique, unexplored and infinite possibilities of artistic expression. This new environment makes it possible to create gigantic or very small works of art, to control gravity, to choose the time of the day, to meet and collaborate with people from all over the world, and much more.

Leou Aeon’s Virtual Studio, floating above the ocean and the clouds, reflects Leou’s complexity, creativity and multidisciplinarity; through it he has found a way to adapt his art to this new revolutionary medium. The Virtual Gallery, which is now featuring the exhibition titled “Abstractions”. It presents Leou's latest artwork, original ink drawings on paper. The artist's mindblowing, transcendental & symbolical style is an aesthetic & spiritual experience to remember.

Tina The Tarantula
Tina the tarantula, was a timid little thing,
And her favourite occupation, was simply just to sing.
She sang torch songs and operatics, with a pretty perfect pitch,
And could do a mean vibrato, in a voice both smooth & rich.
Her vocal virtuosity, it never seemed to ebb,
As she sat right in the centre of her wonderfully woven web.
But Tina, she was timid, as I already wrote,
And noone ever heard the notes that came from Tina's troath.
For Tina was too shy you see, to let herself be heard,
And of her friends, not one had heard her sing a single word,
for twas only in her bathroom, while she took a shower,
That Tina sang her spider songs, for quarter of an hour.
Now, 15 minutes, you may say, is really not so long,
to exercise your voice each day and keep it pure & strong.
But 15 minutes, everyday, if you do the calculation,
Amounts to quite a lot of time for any occupation
(like meditation)
Tina sang of many things, expressing love and hope,
while all the time she washed herself and lathered up with soap.
She sang of peace and harmony,
she sang of friendship too,
She sang of life & loneliness, as she applied shampoo,
For Tina was alone, you see, and hence so much emotion,
in Tina's song, and after that she put on spider-lotion.
And asshe sang she dreamed she'd have A Charming handsome Prince,
who'd be waiting, Patiently for her, as she began to rinse,
Her song it finished sadly, when she walked out the door,
And the beauty it had put on Tina's face was there no more,
She went to work at nine o' clock, and worked all day at weaving and hardly said a single word from morning until Evening.
But, one day while she was singing, thinking herself alone,
A young and handsome spider arrived at Tina's home,
His name, this lad was Toby, and he sold vacuum cleaners,
And when he heard young Tina's voice he lovedher before he'd seen her.
His samplesfell from Toby's grasp and clattered on the floor,
and not thinking why he did so , he walked in through Tina's door.
The notes from here weresharp and clear
And Toby knew quite soon, that those sweet as honey melodies,
came straight from the bath-room
He made his way across the web, and listened, mouth agape
he realised that for his heart, there could be no escape,
For Tina had ensnared his heart, for Tina he would Die,
For in the web of Tina's song, his heart was like a fly.
So when she stepped from the shower, just after her final rinse,
through the frosted glass she saw her patient handsome Prince.
She groaned, then gave a gasp of glee,
then blushed a purple pink, she knew someone had heard her,
What would that someone think?
So, quite shyly she stepped out there, not knowing what to do,
then saw the love in Toby's eyes,
her dream it had come true.
Ger wedding gown was gossamer with dew drops on her head,
She sang a happy love-filled song, the day that they got wed.
The rest of this love story is a tale of joy and laughter, as
singer and web-to web salesman lived happily ever after
