Hey David,

Me too on the length of time to reply.

Well, first I would like to say that yes money can definitely change the world and since we are going to start there I think we need to not be afraid to use big numbers.  Instead of $25 billion let's go right for $1 Trillion.

If you look at our current costs for war in Iraq, there are estimates of $2 billion a week or $12 billion per month so in 8-13 weeks it would exceed the amount you are looking at to change the world.

We need to think big and we need to first start thinking of how spending money to improve the world will be cheaper than having all these wars and fighting over everything.

1 - Where do we start?

We need to lift everyone out of poverty and provide the basics of food, shelter, clothing, health and education.  We also need to provide them with the opportunities of sustaining themselves.

2 - How do we measure success?

A reduction in poverty.  A reduction in death by Malaria, Aids and other diseases more prevalent in underdeveloped and undereducated countries.  We measure by less war and conflict.  We measure by the re-establishment of endangered species.  We measure by the cleaner air and environment.

3 - How long do we have to achieve the plan?

We should start with the newborns of today and it should be a plan that occurs in one generation.  We need to start with today's youth and educate them how to start a new world with peace, health and sustainability for all people.  We need to finally educate everyone on tolerance of all races, religions, orientations, etc. etc. etc.

4 - What can I contribute?

Ideas, ideas, ideas.  The base and structure need to be rethought and rebuilt from the ground up.  A new model of thinking and living has to occur.  We cannot keep repeating the past, a new norm has to be developed.  Possibly a new global political and economic structure needs to be created to accomplish this.
