Welcome to healing through mindchange. You are right that emotional causes of illness have been largely neglected. I think that over 80% of doctor's visits are related to emotional problems, which are manifesting in the physical. Every body knows about emotional or stress associations to headaches, back pain, migraine, indigestion, pain syndromes, and similar problems.

Heart disease has long been associated with stress personalities and most medical problems have been linked to some kind of stress response. Books on psychosomatic medicine, such as "Molecules of Emotions", by Candice Peart and "The Balance Within" by Esther Sternberg and the field of psychoneuroimmunology (google) explain some of the connections between chronic illness and the stress hormones. The book "Messages from the Body" by Lincoln ... is still on my wishlist.

Through the successful application of EFT, we can confirm practically that even allergies, asthma, hypertension, Multiple sclerosis, Lupus erythematodes, and other serious chronic problems can be considered to be manifestations of emotional conflicts. If you count accidents, which happenn usually through mindlessness due to emotional conflicts or cirrhosis of the liver and other afflictions through substance abuse (smoking and lung cancer), which is caused by emotional traumas from childhood, I wonder if any health problem can be understood without looking at the underlying emotional factors.

When you consider that stress is nothing but a wrong, fearful, or negative expectation, based on fearful, negative thinking, you can see how important and healing a change of mind will be: a change towards peace of mind through positve thinking and affirmations, mindful breathing and meditation, letting go through EFT and letting Good take over, which means a trustful reliance on Spirit, the (Life) Force, or the Intelligence of the universe, which always heals if we don't resist it.

      Hi
I am interested in this pod because my life has been decicated to understanding and working with change; most recently through creating a website on emotional health www.bigwhitewall.com Through personal experiences i have become passionate about how little interest is given to the emotional health compared to physical health. Yet one in third of visits to family doctors are to do with emotional rather than physical health. I would like to explore ways of enabling people to pursue strong emotional health states in the same way they would take care of their physical body.
Thank you for listening.

      Hi All,

I am a student of consciousness who serves humanity using life path consultation and hypnotherapy. My belief is that one can instantly, totally, and permanently change their reality (including physical, emotional, and mental health) simply by changing their mind.

This is a great forum, and I would like to read stories about the experiences of others who have healed through mindchange.

Be well,

Donald
