Claiming health is healthy

I am convinced that the main reason why I don't catch the flue of my patients is my conviction that I don't need it, don't want it, and it can't get me because I trust that I camn fight it off.

But is it true?

We could say that  the fear of a disease is one of the main reasons why we succumb to a disease. Along the lines of thought that we get what we expect, that the mind expands what it focuses on, it seems a rasonable assumption.

But what about AIDS? Is AIDS so dangerous because we are so afraid of it?

Any experiences?
