Mi Ka El : Mindchanger

Healing begins at home

My home is my mind.

It took me while to accept this, but I gradually come to realize that I live in my mind all the time. And I can't even leave it, - or reach outside of it. So if I want to heal my toothache, specifically a root canal infection which has been bothering me since two weeks, I have to change my mind and find a new approach.

Even if it is just to decide to give up and ask for help, go to the local pharmacist and ask if she could suggest an antibiotic I haven't tried yet.  Luckily she recoomended one I didn't think could work on dental infections and I am getting better.

So do I know that the new tablet healed me? - or was it just my new hope? I still believe in antibiotics, but in many other cases a mindchange towards hope and positive expectations seems to work better than medicines. And without that mindchange no medicine will work, that's for sure.
