Marianne : Spiritual Warrior on the Good Red Road

Hi all! Marianne here!

Marianne said Mar 21, 2007, 8:50 PM:

Thank you Ffred for inviting me!I hope I can be of service and I look forward to sharing ideas and insight.
If you read my profile you will get a flavor for who I am and what I do.
 I write a daily blog http://journals.aol.com/blueroadspirit/WalkingtheRedRoad/
I guess we're all here because we  we have vision and goals and now that we have a network of folks with like minds, we can't fail..right?!
I look forward to hearing from you.
Namaste,
Marianne

I leave you with one of my favorite quotes
Here's to the crazy ones.

The misfits.

The rebels
The trouble-makers.

The round heads in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.

They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them.
But the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world,
are the ones who do.

Hi Marianne

Welcome!  Thank you for posting a little about yourself.  I can see already that you are a great asset to our Team!

Aptly-chosen quote, as well.  Jack Kerouac knows how to really stir the soul!

I want to comment on one small statement you made on your blog -

Make room for abundance

This is a powerful concept. It makes me think about how perception is vital to feeling accomplishment.  If you thought “I'm just getting rid of an old blender” and let it go, then what you have done is very little, according to your perception.  Because you perceive this action as significant, and value it as an action that leads to your success, you have done much more with exactly the same amount of effort.

So, it's not just action that leads to success, it's your perception and how you value your actions, no matter what the size.  As a result, you get so much more for the same amount of effort.

So, if I could contribute something, it would  be this statement:

Value your actions!

Absolutely, from a spiritual standpoint, all things have energy. There is also emotion attached to them.

The blender is not significant, but the energy associated with it is…It is not mine..it actually belonged to my mother, and for me there is also energy associated with my mother, so by releasing that one thing, I am removing a very complex set of energies from my physical space..

The ritual of release does exactly that, it is a surrrender, a  physical letting go wich gives us permission to “let go”…..letting go of things , feelings and the emotion tied to them..which do not reflect the current ME….

Currently, I weigh every thing that comes into my space ..if it does not serve a purpose spiritually, physically or emotionally..it does not come in…
It was alot of work to rid myself of other peoples things, and things I brought in to feel full…

Open spaces, the simplicity of what I really need is much more peaceful…a place where anything is possible…

Clutter refects a cluttered mind and heart….

It will make you look at your own “stuff” in a much different way!!!!!
