Marianne : Spiritual Warrior on the Good Red Road

Death- the final frontier.

Marianne said Apr 2, 2007, 10:15 AM:

I just read Fred's email. Fred I'm sorry about your loss..
I did a lecture friday night, and we discussed this very subject…

The time for regret is not on the deathbed…Being a Medium, I cannot express the regret felt by those that have crossed or those left here greaving over shoulda coulda woulda's…
I should have said….
I should have done…
I wish I had the chance…..
If I only had another day,hour,minute…..

Once someone crosses over, it is much harder to make amends, say what you need to, forgive, be forgiven….for them and us.

Now is the time.. for us to make amends with those we wronged or who wronged us, or speak your truth, or tell someone you love them…

The only moment we are guaranteed is the one you live in right now at this very moment…don't waste another second….do it…You'll be glad you did.
Here is a thought for today-

Ojibwa Prayer

Oh Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds
And whose breath gives life to everyone,
Hear me.
I come to you as one of your many children;
I am weak… I am small…I need your wisdom
and your strength.
Let me walk in beauty, and make my eyes ever
behold the red and purple sunsets.
Make my hands respect the things you have made,
and make my ears sharp so I may hear your voice.
Make me wise, so that I may understand what you
have taught my people and the lessons you have hidden in each leaf and each rock.
I ask for wisdom and strength,
Not to be superior to my brothers, but to be able
to fight my greatest enemy, myself.
Make me ever ready to come before you with
clean hands and a straight eye,
So as life fades away as a fading sunset,
My spirit may come to you without shame.
