I love what you say about:

Only those who do not fear the mystery, enigma and overhwelming infinity -including the dangers! of life have a chance to taste it. And to throw into this fire and light.

Love,

Nicole

"Now no distance is too distant.
Wafted spirit, spellbound flesh.
Moth compelled by flame’s insistent
Magnet, you must burn to ash.

And till you confront this test,
This dying-and-becoming,
You’ll only be a dismal guest
at the earth’s dim gloaming."

These lines of the poem radiate a radical readiness and passion not understandable for anyone who is only examining life. Only interested in it. Trying to be smart, cool, clever, brilliant or only curious.

Only those who do not fear the mystery, enigma and overhwelming infinity -including the dangers! of life have a chance to taste it. And to throw into this fire and light.

Very best,
Albert

this is an article from C. G. JUng. Published in 1936. And an ecellent complimentary source to Heinrich Heines text "Rat eines Träumers" presented hee in Multi-lingual Pod too earlier.

Jung is referring precisely to the psychic side and the collective unconsciousness in German culture. Though this dimension is to be integrally broadened it nevertheless is abolutely crucial for any understanding .

And I am writing about it not simply as intellectual excercise. its an existential endevor. And it was an even brutal experience within myself last 40 years.

Its clear that Nietzsche-as quoted here by C.G: Jung -felt and sensed this same psycho-physical force. He was the most lucid author from last 150 years in Germany. He ended as broken soul.

its a fantastic and tough challenge at once to finally tame and galvanize Wotan for the 21st century.

Wotan

“In Germany shall divers sects arise,

Coming very near to happy paganism.

The heart captivated and small receivings

Shall open the gate to pay the true tithe.”

- Prophecies of Nostradamus, 1555

"It is above all the Germans who have an opportunity, perhaps unique in history, to look into their own hearts and to learn what those perils of the soul were from which Christianity tried to rescue mankind. Germany is a land of spiritual catastrophes, where nature never makes more than a pretense of peace with the world-ruling reason. The disturber of the peace is a wind that blows into Europe from Asia’s vastness, sweeping in on a wide front from Thrace to the Baltic, scattering the nations before it like dry leaves, or inspiring thoughts that shake the world to its foundations.."

Nicole, and hard truths are making the way free for fresh perspectives. Germany is coming back, no doubt.

And the newly gained soul strength, from decades of healing, understanding and liberating the collective shadow will and can be a gift for the world.

The re-connection to 3 centuries of prototyping evolutionary spirituailty and lots of emrgence in business, culture, poltics and science, medicine and arts.....will produce new emrgence and relevance even for European Integration.

And even more. it can liberate the feeling of identity in all people around the world with German antecedents. In US alone roundabout 20 percent of all Americans have roots over more generations to the German speaking culture.

Jung spoke about the German thunderbolt. And, in fact, it exists. it lives and breathes.

Best,
Albert

      Yes, Nicole.

In this summers greatintegralawakening.com series it became clear for me that conventional transcendence, even progressive spirituality on the one side and conventional grassrooting, top down agency, skill full collaboration and mediation are not enough any more.

And this alchemy needs hard truths too. Ability to deal with hotspots, tough personal committement, readiness to embody it all exitentially. Nobody will go this journey without even profound errors mistakes and birth pains.

Nobody who is clinging to poltical and spiritual correctness.

To work with large scale systems change is in its infancy. its far more than "Come together" attitude. Or calling for global shifts. And mantras like "Be the change".

it has to deal with thousands of timelines. As Vaclav Havel once said. Without capitulating in front of this monstrous dimensions.

Nietsches book "Die fröhliche Wissenschaft" is in English:

The Gay Science

"...The Gay Science [German: Die fröhliche Wissenschaft ("la gaya scienza")], is a book written by Friedrich Nietzsche, first published in 1882 and followed by a second edition, which was published after the completion of Thus Spoke Zarathustra and Beyond Good and Evil, in 1887. This substantial expansion includes a fifth book and an appendix of songs. It was noted by Nietzsche to be "the most personal of all my books", and contains the greatest number of poems in any of his published work.--"

These excerpts are from the book:

The Great Health

Nicole thanks so much for doing this; I do hope others help as well, whether or not they'd like to participate in the Gaia Minute itself!

I've also asked my father's help with a Hindi translation.
