Hoi Richard,

Dank voor je mededeling betr. de films, ik ben de komende tijd veel in Amsterdam dus het lijkt me wel leuk om te komen.

Ik weet alleen niet waar het Ketelhuis is, dus een adresvermelding zou ik op prijs stellen.

Zou trouwens ook leuk zijn om weer wat leven in de Hollandse Pot te blazen. ik heb al wat andere landgenoten van ons uitgenodigd voor Gaia , ook met het idee om misschien wat meer lokaal te kunnen doen.

In een spontane opwelling hebben 2 NL Zaadsters op 15 sept. om 1.30 uur afgesproken een Nederlandse Zaangha Day te organiseren.

Van 14.00 tot 17.00 is deze gehouden in Amsterdam. Deze zal waarschijnlijk herinnerd worden als de kleinste Zaangha Day ooit!

How many of you have met someone from the site in person?

I feel absurdly lucky in this regard: I've lost count of how many of you I've had the pleasure of chatting with, either over the phone or over coffee.

If you haven't (for whatever reason!) yet connected to Zaadzsters in the real world, we're about to make it much, much easier. Jessica and Dave are in the process of organizing the next Global Zaangha Day, and you're all invited to participate.

Zaangha. I'll explain. :)

Zaangha is Zaadz's twist on 'sangha,' a Sanskrit word meaning 'gathering' that carries with it connotations of community and awakening. When Zaadz was just a wee little network, we found people spontaneously arranging to join together in person... and the very first Zaanghas were born. (You can read more about them here.)

So... I hope you can clear some time in your schedules on September 15th. We're excited to think about what it will be like for hundreds (if not thousands!) of us to come together in communities all over the world to connect in person, and all the more so because these gatherings are going to be YOURS to arrange as you wish. Who knows what magic might happen? You've probably noticed Zaadz has a way of bringing about coincidences. September 15th will be no exception.

Of course, we'll be providing you with a little organizational support. If you'd like to participate in any way—be it by hosting a meetup or just showing up with a smile at a cafe in your neighborhood—pop on over to our Zaangha page. Dave and Jessica (as you'll see) are very very eager to help coordinate.

Exciting, hm? I certainly can't wait. :)

This workshop is designed to assist people who want to learn or clarify basic alignment principles in their yoga practice.

In this two workshops we will spend our time exploring yoga fundamentals, warming up ourselves with a flow sequence, including finding a peaceful place within, accessing self confidence and celebration of being in our bodies.
We open the gates through breath work, stretching, the energy lines and we will find ourselves exactly where we are in the poses of yoga. Learn about these essential foundation stones to prevent problems and provide a firm base for a successful and meaningful practice in yoga.

We will work with different areas in the body, shoulders,

Dear Zaadsters, If you're living in the Netherlands and would like to get started with yoga, then you might be interested in this workshop I'm organizing with Caroline Klebl. Throughout this series of workshops the depth of the Ashtanga Yoga practice will be explored. The postures and techniques of the primary series will be introduced sequentially, one posture laying the foundation for the subsequent posture. The principles of Mulah Bandha (the root lock), Dristi (the gaze) and Oujaii Pranayama (the sound induced breath) will be applied, to awaken the source of breath and movement in the practice. These workshops are open to all levels. Caroline Klebl, with a background in Iyengar Yoga and Tibetan Buddhist meditation, began the practice of Ashtanga Yoga in 1995. Betse mensen. De laatste meditatie is alweer inzicht as zondag, 14 april,wegwijs met je gidsen; ( er is nog plaats ) Wij hebben besloten om aan de vaak gestelde vraag gehoor te geven en een workshop te geven over de tibetaanse klankschaal.

Deze middag beginnen we met een korte geleide meditatie. Met aansluitend een klankmassage voor alle deelnemers. Hierbij maken we gebruik van Tibetaanse klankschalen, die vlak rond om en soms op het lichaam geplaatst worden. Hierdoor kun je de diep harmoniserende werking van de klankschalen optimaal ervaren.

Het luisteren naar de klanken op zich is al een genot dat zorgt voor rust en ontspanning. Maar de diepere werking berust op de trillingen die de klankschalen produceren. Door de klanktrillingen krijgen alle lichaamscellen als het ware een fijne subtiele massage. De energie gaat stromen. En lichaam en geest worden in balans gebracht.

Na afloop van deze massage vertellen we kort wat over de klankschaal. We reiken je tips en technieken aan voor het gebruik van de klankschaal. Breng gerust je eigen klankschaal mee. Klein of groot. Vervolgens krijg je de gelegenheid om zelf te werken met een klankschaal. Zodat je in staat bent met gedegen kennis een klankmassage te geven aan een ander. Er zijn diverse klankschalen aanwezig om uit te proberen. Deze middag wordt afgesloten met een Tibetaanse klankschaalmeditatie.

Beste mensen
Ik geef op een paar zondagmiddagen een meditatie in Amsterdam.
Hier volgen de data's en het adres.

Op 4 maart staat de meditatie in het teken van je eigen energie op laden. Deze techniek kun je dan thuis of waar dan ook gebruiken als je het gevoel hebt dat je energie niet ,goed, stroomt.

Op 18 maart staat de meditatie in het teken van het antwoord. Iedereen zoekt het antwoord verderweg dan nodig is. In deze meditatie leer je je eigen antwoord vinden in jezelf.

Op 4 april kom je in de meditatie in kontakt met je eigen gids. Iedereen heeft zijn/haar eigen gids het is de kunst die toe te laten om jou te gidsen en te beschermen. Vandaag krijg je de mogelijkheid om jouw gids te ontmoeten.

Al deze meditaties worden door mij begelijd op de Tibetaanse klankschaal. De zachte trillingen van de klankschaal zijn bij uitstek de ideale manier om een meditatie te begelijden.
