With how many vegan & vegetarian spots there are here in NYC ... and how long I had to wait for a table .... (zomg, like 30 mins!!) ...because you had SO much to say during dinner, dessert, after dessert, after the check was put on your table, after you spilled the rest of your coffee you were playing with on your check ... kk get it ... and none of you are on gaia ??? lol ... or now you just have nothing left to say?

;)

Blossom is great. I first went there for brunch and wasn't impressed, but my second outing there was for dinner and it was impressive.
Blossom opened a second location last month on the Upper West Side. It is more of a cafe style than their Chelsea version.

Raw Soul in Harlem is sooo amazing. We went there again lastnight and the food is so delicious. They serve amazing raw vegan entrees such as pizza, burgers and enchiladas (all delicious). The also make amazing pies and cheesecakes. Lastnight they had an amzing fruit parfait. Lots of smoothies and juices...and don't miss the apricot biscuits. They ca be a little slow sometimes though, but it's always worth the wait.

went to candle 79 the other night and whoever hasn't needs to go *immediately*. went with a few friends for my bday. all except one are omnivores, so i was pretty nervous and they all loved it. the appetizers are all good (among all of us we shared like 2/3 of the menu), so were the entrees (i had the seitan of the day - *YU-MY*!). the dessert (mexican chocolate cake) was good but not super amazing, would try some of their other desserts next time (the cherry apple pie looked amazing - i witnesses a couple next to us endulging in it). drinks (sake based cocktails) were delicious and the services was super nice - just a really kind accomodating bunch of people!!
