went to candle 79 the other night and whoever hasn't needs to go *immediately*. went with a few friends for my bday. all except one are omnivores, so i was pretty nervous and they all loved it. the appetizers are all good (among all of us we shared like 2/3 of the menu), so were the entrees (i had the seitan of the day - *YU-MY*!). the dessert (mexican chocolate cake) was good but not super amazing, would try some of their other desserts next time (the cherry apple pie looked amazing - i witnesses a couple next to us endulging in it). drinks (sake based cocktails) were delicious and the services was super nice - just a really kind accomodating bunch of people!!
