I've unearthed some interesting resources for thinking about who to support in the primaries, regardless of your party affiliation.

Check out http://www.countercurrents.org/swanson101207.htm.

And go out and get yourself a copy of Tikkun Magazine, the current issue of which is all about the primaries. Better yet, join the Network of Spiritual Progressives (www.spiritualprogressives.org) as a dues-paying member and get the magazine for free. These folks need your support.

So who are you all supporting?

Speaking solely as an individual and not as a representative of any organization, I will be voting for Dennis Kucinich. I strongly believe we have to vote in the primaries for the candidate whose vision most appeals, and he's it for me. He's the only one who is really suggesting a fundamental change in how we view the world, from an atomistic, individualistic model to one of interdependence and interconnectedness.

Yes, yes, I know they say he's unelectable. But he's only unelectable because you and I aren't voting for him.
