ONE LIGHT MANY WINDOWS was started purposefully to create a collection of wisdom from ALL paths, primarily in an encyclopaedia format with specific topics as threads. Together we seek the common underlying Truth and harmony that we sense in all paths. We celebrate both the unique diversity and the affinity of all paths. We are not seeking to make them appear as one path; but rather, celebrating them as Windows of One Light. This group is for those who are seeking to gain awareness of other paths.
To go deeply into each religion is outside the scope and objective of this group.
As a very special addition, our beloved cultivator emeritus of ONE LIGHT MANY WINDOWS, lovingly known as Swamiji Eli initiated The Gaia Minute- an immediate and powerful way we come together from all over earth, for the benefit of all, no matter what our path. This is a precious gift, and if it speaks to your heart, please jointhose who are participating.
Dear friends, you are very welcome in this special space that is unlike the standard discussion groups. We are sure that once you get familiar with the structure, you will participate for the mutual enjoyment of all and future readers & members. There are two types of rooms in our group.
First are the DISCUSSIONS. In the discussion rooms, members are welcomed to start threads, comment and generally interact.
and the other format is a REFERENCE ROOM / Libraries, consisting only of material gathered from various sources in relation to a topic/tag or subject.
In the REFERENCE libraries, moderators start threads and members can post according to the guideline posted in a sticky on the top of each room. This helps us to keep the quotations and links in the proper places, properly indexed, and over time, a rich source of wisdom for the topics that we are all interested in. Each room has detailed indexes to assist you where to post a quote or find one.
NOTE - If members comment or discuss posts in a 'reference library', the post will be respectfully moved to the Forum- Discussions - Harmonizing room where discussion takes place. We humbly request that members do not see the moving of posts as contentious. We are simply keeping the structure/model of One Light Many Windows as we expand. One of our mods will always write a personal note should a post need to be moved. Gaia Minute~Reference, Discussion, Information has threads for discussion and reference.
