Policy and Guidelines Welcome to One Light Many Windows! One Light Many Windows is a little different from the standard discussion group. We have outlined out the format below to enable your free and full participation. We are so glad you are here and thank you for becoming a member of our project. We look forward to any contributions you are willing to make. We humbly request you to take the following steps: [1] Go to the “Entering the Light” room and introduce yourself in this month's thread entitled Fellow travelers introduce yourself here: [month/year]. [2] Please take a moment to read: ”About This Group ” in the top right side bar. This will help to orient you to how we are set up to celebrate many paths and how these can be discussed in our Forum. [3] Before posting, please take a moment to read Policy - Definition, and for your convenience, here is the Index of ROOMS: One Light Many Windows giving you an overview to each room in the group. As a very special addition, our Cultivator of ONE LIGHT MANY WINDOWS, lovingly known as Swamiji Eli, initiated the Gaia Minute - an immediate and powerful way we come together from all over earth, for the benefit of all, no matter what our path. This is a precious gift, well worth checking out and becoming a part of right away. ONE LIGHT MANY WINDOWS was started purposefully to create a collection of wisdom from ALL paths, primarily in an encyclopaedia format with specific topics as threads. A Forum is also available for discussions. This is collective project. The Forum - Discussions - Harmonizing is available for discussions. Material which catches your eye in the Reference Libraries can be copy/pasted into a thread for conversation. In our group we compile inspirational material from different religions, traditions and paths about the SAME topics/tags. Together we seek the common underlying Truth and harmony that we sense in all paths. We celebrate both the unique diversity and the affinity of all paths. We are not seeking to make them appear as one path; but rather, celebrating them as Windows of One Light. This group is for those who are seeking to gain awareness of other paths. There are two types of room structures in our group. DISCUSSION ROOMS are similar to those in any other group where members are welcomed to start threads, comment and generally interact. DISCUSSION ROOMS Entering the Light Forum - Discussions - Harmonizing And REFERENCE LIbraries where moderators start threads and members can post according to the guideline at the top of each thread. This helps us to keep the quotations and links in the proper places, properly indexed and over time have a rich source of wisdom for the topics that we are all interested in. Each room has detailed indexes to assist you where to post a quote or find one. REFERENCE ROOM libraries 1. Reference Library - Windows of Light 2. Reference Library - Simple Truths 3. We humbly request that members do not see the moving of posts as contentious. We are simply keeping the structure/model of One Light Many Windows standard as we expand.
