Oh yum, Jenny, that poached pear in puff pastry (what a mouthful!) looks awesome. I have a pear tree where I live and it's just coming into blossom (spring time here). |

When it has fruit you could try that. Its easy. You poach the halved pears then cut up readymade puff pastry and cook it with the pear on then sprinkle icing suger on top and I think a very small amount of toffee or caramel sauce made by melting brown suger till its sticky. |

i love all seeds - but especially dried beans… i find them exquisitely fantastic… all that life force and beautiful… and if you have a lot of them… you can run your hands through them … and it feels so… mmmm…. and you plant them and they sprout so brilliantly - this miraculous unleashing… unfurling… toward the making of more… i just love it. |

This is reminding me of Bordeaux. What I miss most about Southern France are the stellar wines, fruit, and light - truly all glimpses of heaven and not even approachable in the USA. |
