Masahide wrote the following haiku:

“Barn's burnt down … Now I can see the moon”. Can you see the moon?

Tai your moss is really delicate.
The trees are Norfolk Island Pines. They grow along the coast. These are at Toowoon Bay just north of my place. They are beautiful trees.

Oh Leigh ann - that is such a wispy invigorating shot.  And to see today from your eyes in England and now to Jenny in Australia on the same day, I can feel the difference between walking and driving through the clouds.

It reminds me of photography on the run

Jenny said Apr 15, 2:37 PM:

I love old fungi on wood, brings back memories. When we were children we used to go camping every year down the coast. There were some old fallen down trees where we camped that had big old fungis on them. They were oranges and yellows and glowed in the dark. I loved them and was convinced they belonged to the faeries.

I remember going to a forest as a child and spotting the red and white toadstools associated with faeries, I was very excited, I love the faery rings, made from the spores, have to see if I can find one somewhere….

it was in the trees for peace - this is the photo, before I zoomed it up for “effect”  - think it's ivy roots - what's yours Jen

this one is wild garlic - the flower stalks are just coming up now, so will get a picture of the flowers soon, it will be really pungent when walking by the stream - adds a whole new dimension to “garlic breath”!

When you think about nature and trees and plants, they are “at home” where they grow - it's so important for us to feel “at home” - to be in a nurturing place, where there is enough food, light, warmth and shelter… home is like good rich soil with plenty of nutrients….

think we posted together again!

it's wonderful seeing another country's growth and nature - thanks for sharing your pictures.  This last picture reminds me of one I took on Monday - a sort of “ivy archway”

Thats so lovely good walking place. I was imagining you hanging over the bridge taking your reflection. That beach is 4 minutes drive from my place. Unfortunately the road isnt good for walking there. Its steep near my end and has no footpath.
Thats the northern end.
This is the southern end on a cloudy day

Hi Jenny - looks like it's a really big beach - is your sea warm, our's is usually pretty chilly…  Must be wonderful to be so near the coast

Think I will start a new thread for “Nature Walks” as this one can be slow sometimes…
Love doing “photo exchange”!
