Those great Matrix mindtricks

Hi members,
The Matrix is one of my favorite movies, as my introduction might have revealed.

Lots of stuff that can happen to you in real life, is deductable on the filosophy of the movie. Synchronicity for instance, and the believes of Morpheus concerning the Prophecy. I think of quotes from Morpheus sometimes.

An example: In Matrix Reloaded, Morpheus, Trinity and Neo are standing in the elevator, after their “unsuccesfull” meeting with the Merovingian. Trinity has doubts about wat they've accomplished and thinks maybe they did something wrong. Morpheus says: “What just happened, happened and could not have happened any other way”. Neo: “How do you know”. Morpheus: “We are still alive”.

Also in Matrix reloaded, Neo is meeting with The Oracle. Their conversation starts. The subject Choice emerges. The Oracle says: “We can never see past the choices we don't understand”. I believe that to be so incredibly true. I am convinced that a choice is made on the level of your soul. Once the soul has made a choice, all life conspires to help support that choice.

For the sake of just talking about a great movie and story, post your reflections on this. How the movie affected your life, (or how it didn't).

When you become unplugged, no one is there to rescue you, and you look around and all of humankind is still feeding The Lie. And it remains that way.

Silent Temple, you said it. I really do feel unplugged you know. Sometimes the feeling of the gap gets so close, it hurts.

I just thought of another. “Being the One, is like being in Love.” Being the One is offcourse not in the sense of the only Neo in the Universe. We can all experience being Neo, being the One within our Universe and our world. When that happens, you truly fall in Love. I know, because I did….. And I am….
