Masahide wrote the following haiku:

“Barn's burnt down … Now I can see the moon”. Can you see the moon?

Tai your iris looks like a butterfly. I looked out this morning and there is what I think may be a native iris. Its small and I took photos none of which came out quite as brilliantly as I would have liked. But its there. Love the lilacs flowerchild

Thanks Jenny, Tai, Lee & flowerchild

I hand never thought about bees looking different from around the world. That is a fascinating thought.  I found a separate website on the Bees of NY where Valerie is from.

The color of blue does something to me today… Thanks for posting the forget me not Tai.

Can someone please post some websites on ordering seeds on line?
Thanks!!!!   Below are exotic flowers.

Here is a little more blue… just for you…

Of course… www.burpee.com is one of the great places to buy seeds..  (for some reason, gaia is blocking this link… I sent a note to support).

deep within my brown and gold flower

I go forever, but only I see

It's only for me

I am housed there for no one to see

It's my home

You have one too, look easy and see

Your blue and grey, green and black or brown and gold flower

with picture of thee.

Roses are in bloom in various places all over the globe, right this very minute. In other places, unbeknownst to the roses, people are out earning money so that they can afford to buy a dozen to give to someone special.
The really important problems in life aren't going to be solved by the president of the United States, anyway, no matter who he is.
And of course, Flower Pictures… Continued… continues to find you, wherever you may be. Now, doesn't that do wonders for the old confidence?

And Sunshine beautiful video and song.
FastDart I love Irises and thats a lovely one.
Tai have you seen the multicoloured honeysuckle, I love the pink. I had an old fashioned honeysuckle in Canberra. It had tiny cream flowers with a really wafty beautiful smell. You would go out and it would just be here and there wafting unexpectedly around the garden.

Hi Jen, I put a pot with honeysuckle in the front border several years ago and it sort of “rooted in” now I can't move it and the honeysuckle is everywhere!  The one pictured above I found on a walk - must take a picture of mine sometime…my nan used to have a wonderful honeysuckle growing on the back wall of her house.  I think my grandparents helped me to have a love of gardening and plants in general…
