Now I Can See The Moon

Masahide wrote the following haiku:

“Barn's burnt down … Now I can see the moon”. Can you see the moon?

We want a life of clarity, freedom, happiness, and deep meaning. We get there step by step by becoming our own person, deeply trusting our own intuition and...(more)

Seeing the moon in a new light

In a few hours' time, the LCROSS will plunge into the moon in what's being called bombing on the moon…..

They say that the moon's always being impacted by craters. This time, it'll be man-planned.

Okay, we all hate bombs & war. Well, not everybody. A whole lot of somebodies actually must dig it a lot, because there are always a few going on. War is a kind of murder, usually, but for some reason, it makes sense at the time, and nobody puts it in the same category, unless they are on the receiving end of all the murdering. THEN, they are very clear about it.

Sometimes you hear people say, War is inevitable. War is a human instinct. Blah, blah, blah. Bad breath is inevitable. War, as far as I can tell, IS evitable. That means avoidable.

Take you, for example. How much war did you accomplish today? Not counting what was done with your tax money, which after it leaves your bank account is on its own. For the purposes of this discussion. You probably didn’t do a lot of warlike stuff today. Unless you are in that profession. Then that would be about all you did.

I know they say that the moon is always being bombarded by meteorites and so on; but somehow when we humans do it, it seems to hit us more, doesn't it?

we can seeimages online.  or on TV  OR online TV. This is the LCROSS going towards the moon, carrying humankind's aspirations and our prayers.

Si! Si! Si! for me Meenakshi!
No interest to watch.

Why America feels they have right to do this?
Why are we not told sooner?

Gia, today I thought –no real answer to your question really, but a spinoff from it - perhaps it was told but we didn't know.
Just like the moon is constantly bombarded by meteorites and what-not from space, and we rarely know or care. We love the beauty of her light that hides most of her craters. And that side of her that never faces the sun….I'm just seeing her in a new light, and continuing to love her.

I saw in a video recently from The Universe that the moon was carved out from earth ages ago, when a giant meteor hit earth. No wonder our feelings are so attached to it….
Where did the Moon come from

Grazie Meenakshi!

no I check and see we not told.
For me I think we not know whole truth;
why not told and why down so fast?

So we wait with quiet hopes. Si?

I guess this is the other, darker side of space travel, which has also brought us lots of awareness of our place in the universe. The video is a little of topic, but my mind was driven by a thought I had about the universe a few weeks ago.

God put the gift of day and night in our world. If there were only daytime, the pale blue sky would have never made us wonder about the stars. As day turns to night, our eyes are given the treat to wonder off into space, deepness and the promise of other worlds far, far away. Because the night is there, the universe is aware of itself through us.

With the launch of the Hubble telescope, we became aware of the universe on another level. See the video for some background on that. The hubble telescope is a product of space travel.

Bombing the moon is absolutely no way to deal with global issues. When you search for explanations, you will find plenty. But where is the truth hiding? We will never be able to tell truth from lies. We can just sit tight and hope this does not succeed.

I take it that most of you have heard of the NASA plan to bomb the moon
I feel that this is totally crazy & bordering on insanely ridiculous

Light to the situation - bombing moon

in the Power of Light has 39 good answers that resolve this on a spiritual/mind level and work to explain how things are in the physical universe.

Thanks for bringing this up… perhaps someone knows how the tests are coming back as to the water scene.
